Friendly and attentive welcome. Dining/ breakfast ambiance was fantastic. Food was of a far higher standard than expected for a 'country pub'. Interesting menus and skillful cooking. This grade II listed building is incredible! I loved the quirkiness, my room was adorable with a large bathroom and really comfortable. I was only there one night, attending a wedding nearby, which means I sadly didn't get to spend as much time there as I'd have liked! Delicious breakfast. Massive thanks to the owners for calling me after I left to tell me I'd forgotten my phone charger, so I could return to retrieve it!

Such a cute little hideaway which was bigger than it looks on the photos and set in stunning garden/grounds. Very well done up inside, clean and cosy. The bed was so comfortable! Breakfast options were a lovely touch with nice coffee also. The hosts communicated really quickly and we had a warm personalised welcome on arrival. We were so happy and could have easily stayed another few nights. Highly recommend!

Helen was a wonderful host, the house was easy to find and with parking in a great location. The room was really lovely - peaceful, spacious, clean and comfortable with lovely views of the garden. Shower room was very clean with good facilities and hot water, and I slept like a baby in the good sized comfortable bed! I even had room to practice yoga when I woke with lovely views. Great options for breakfast that were cooked to order and all in for a very good price.
