Situated in a gorgeous village just outside Nuit St Georges, this is a proper Chamber D'Hote, simple, very spacious guest rooms, very comfy bed and best of all, the opportunity to have an evening meal with the hosts. Aperitifs at 7pm, then a simple home cooked three course dinner with wine from the area. The cheese course was to die for, as was the local pinot noir served with it.
Breakfast was stereotypic french with huge cups of coffee, the obligatory croissant and five different home made jams on the most crusty of crusty baguettes. A truly memorable stay.
Situated in the wine capital of Burgundy, Hôtel De La Cloche is a 3-minute walk from the Hospices de Beaune. It offers free Wi-Fi and a garden planted with 100-year-old trees.

Staff attitude was excellent! Ready to help, attentive, would walk the extra mile if required and would attend your request with urgency.
The cleanliness and having the option to have breakfasts and book it the night before at 10pm…. Good was good value for money and convenient because not many places open early in the morning.

The host was very welcoming and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. He kindly brought us a tray with electric jug and tea making facilities that we kept in our room during our stay. He also kindly suggested good places to eat booked our restaurants for us . The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. We had breakfast each morning and it was delicious and very generous with fruit, cereal, a basket of breads and pastries , cheeses, ham and a boiled egg. The coffee was lovely . It was an easy walk into the old town .

Its position is fantastic and there has been real effort to make this property special from the pool to the restaurant. Helpful staff. We had ghastly weather when we stayed which is a pity because on a dry, sunny evening this place would be genuinely special.

Lovely stay.
The low reviews due to the stairs is unfair.
The hotel very clearly outline in all of their advertising that there is a steep spiral staircase with no lift. The building is old but very beautiful and the hostess is absolutely lovely.
The location is excellent, building is picturesque, hostess is very lovely and speaks terrific English. The room is very clean and the beds are comfortable for a good nights sleep. Black out curtains and air conditioning made for a comfortable stay.
