The location of the apartment was perfect. Walking distance to the beach and into town. Celine was really helpful and welcoming. A welcome gift of a Basque cake was a nice surprise. The apartment had everything we needed for a a very pleasant stay. Parking was directly in front of the building.

The breakfast was not what i was expecting but was just what was need for a great start to the day, the facilities were second to none.
we were cycling the EV1 it was a 100 m from the route with a Bike workshop with a super bike mechanic Luc and launderette facilities on the premises this is a idea stop over, there was also restaurants, shop, Lagoon and forest for all your actives.

Location is excellent. You could really not be closer to the beach with only a couple of surf shops and a couple of eateries in a sort of clearing between you and the beach..
Good choice of beers in the restaurant and pretty good food though not inspirational. Breakfast buffet nice coffee and fair choice of offerings.
Oh yes the shower! No review could leave out the lights that change colour in the showerhead - certainly the first time I have had one of these. The staff are very friendly. The rooms compact but more than functional for a surf-type getaway. They have wifi though I don't think they make a bit point of it.

It’s a VERY quirky hotel/hostel, probably one of the strangest hotels I’ve ever stayed. Your room has a tiny padlock. Just find it (that’s harder than you’d think as there is no sign) the email told me which room was mine. The place looks like it was last decorated in the 70s - that’s the 1870’s. The rooms have shared bathrooms but they are clean and only a couple of rooms occupied so no worries about waiting.
If you want breakfast remember to bring it.
I just wanted something cheap and cheerful. It did the job. Oh and the owner was very friendly and she happily gave me the tour and explained everything in English. (Good as my French is poor)
I’m in my 60s and not that I saw the other guests but I get the feeling most of the clients are students.

This was our fourth stay here, as we use it as stop off en route to Spain. Lola(and Kelly the dog) are perfect hosts, with a welcome drink on the patio on arrival. Soustons is a nice town and the lake is just a couple of minutes walk away. Breakfast is superb and we bought some home made jam as usual. The house has everything we needed. Highly recommend.

The biggest drawback was the car-parking situation, and the lack of forewarning of such. For the elderly and somewhat infirm it provided a big problem. An excellent range of restaurants many of which were with good to excellent food.

Great position in center of vibrate small town. Excellent value for budget hotel. Great breakfast and good bar for drinks and Tapas type plates. Hard working couple front of house - they are probably husband and wife, but too hard working providing excellent service to find out as the bar is very popular with tourists and locals alike. Have an excellent market in the town on Saturday which is definitely worth a visit. Also runs on Monday I believe.
Very clean. Lovely room with very thoughtful details. Nice new plumbing. There is air conditioning. Close to the ocean. There is a barbecue. Very tasty breakfast. The main soul of this hotel is its owner, a very caring, kind person, will always help!Thank u!!!
