A beautiful city with loads of old wood beamed houses.
A beautiful city with loads of old wood beamed houses. The historic museum is worth a visit. The cathedral is out of this world. Very beautiful and its bells are deafening but amasing. Le petit France is sweet although a bit too touristy which is ashame but to expect. We were there in November and even then it was busy so I think in summer it will be crazy busy. The outside shutters on most of the buildings in Strasbourg are fascinating, folding back in 3 or 4 pains👍🏼 I could have stayed another day. Definitely try and find a restaurant outside the cathedral area, as they all have the same food and are geared for the tourists. I would just have a drink on one of the many terasses. I definitely will go back.

I came down for a week from Heidelberg to see the city. I'd never been here before, so I wanted to get to know the town.
I loved it! It felt like a more intimate Paris. Great architecture, food, and sights to see. Everything is close by and what a magical experience.
I did a voice tour app for a morning and that was great, too.
But, honestly, my recommendation is to just walk around and take in the beauty of this town. Just magical.

Strasbourg was a great place to visit.
Strasbourg was a great place to visit. You have historic buildings, a mixed French and German influence on culture and food and architecture, it’s easily manageable on foot or with their modern tram system. Great places to eat, relaxed fun vibe, and a good hub for making day trips by train to other nearby tourist destinations. It’s very charming and relaxing to visit!

Strasbourg is such an amazingly beautiful city! The sheer amount of history and architecture is mind boggling and jaw dropping! I don’t think I’ve seen everything there is to see so I’ll have to take another trip back and do even more exploring! It’s the type of place that makes you want to come back!

Strasbourg is a beautiful town which exudes characture and charm. The cobbled streets, amazing buildings are a feast for the eyes along with the amazing patisseries with delicious tarts, cakes and pastries that have been expertly crafted along with the many restaurants/cafes serving typical Alsacien food.
Strasbourg is a photographers paradise, with so many opportunities to get the perfect shot as you meander around all the streets.
Couldn't recommend a visit to Strasbourg more highly. It is also a great location to discover the Alsace wine route - Colmar etc.

The hotel was close to the centre and we parked outside the hotel on the road as we had a roof box. The hotel was modern and comfortable. Justine on reception couldn’t have been more helpful, booking us a restaurant for 9 of us at short notice. We had a lovely breakfast early on Sunday morning so we could get on the road to head back to the uk. Strasbourg was a beautiful city and we really enjoyed our stay.
Very good hotel, with swimming pool and wellness are. The rooms are clean and spatious, with all comforts. Tram stop to the city centre is 5 minutes on foot. Both an open and closed parking lot are available. Highly recommended for short stays to visit Strasbourg.
The room was very nice, a reasonable size for a city centre in France. There was a bath in the bathroom! I was in a twin room, the beds were quite small but still really comfortable. Everywhere in the city centre was really easy to get to from the hotel.
we’ve stayed before whilst passing through this area of France. it’s a good location if you don’t want to go into the centre of Strasbourg as it’s on the outskirts. safe & secure parking on site in a garage under the hotel. lovely friendly staff.
The location is a bit far from the city centre
The space for breakfast is not enough
There are coffee machines in other ibis style hotel but not for this one
