Hotel Strasbourg - Montagne Verte & Restaurant Louisiane, hotel in Strasbourg

Set near the River Ill, Hotel Strasbourg - Montagne Verte Restaurant Louisiane is 2 km from the historic district. It features a restaurant with a summer terrace and a garden.

We recently had a one-night stay in Strasbourg and picked this hotel based on its location and price. Overall, it was a good choice for a short stay. The receptionist we met was incredibly helpful and friendly. He answered all our questions with a smile and made us feel very welcome. Finding parking was also a breeze, which is a big plus in many European cities. The room itself was on the smaller side, but it was clean and well-maintained. Everything we needed was there and functioned well. For a one-night stay, the size wasn't a problem, but if you're planning a longer visit, you might want to consider a larger room option. The breakfast was decent, with a typical continental spread. It wasn't anything extraordinary, but for the price (15 EUR!), it was a good value. In short, this hotel is a great option for travelers looking for a clean, convenient, and affordable place to stay in Strasbourg, especially for a shorter visit. The friendly staff and easy parking make it a solid choice, just keep in mind the room size if you need a lot of space.

Hotel Les Haras, hotel in Strasbourg

Set in a historical building of the 18th century, this hotel is located in Strasbourg, only 200 metres from the city centre. Hotel Les Haras features a spa and offers massages with CODAGE products.

I loved the generous and elegantly designed garden and the little patios that invited us to sit and sip coffee. The location was perfect, quiet - but very close to walk to town and petite France. The rooms were modern and beautifully decorated, also quite big. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Would definitely come back!

Strasbourg is charming, romantic, beautiful, and slow paced. One of my favorite stops on vacation. Getting around was very easy. Every place we ate was delicious, L’Octoberfest and La Cintra were recommended to us by hotel host. The Norte Dame Cathedral was a must see and the museum of Alsace.

We were in Strasbourg for two days, enough time for us to see all the major sites and even take a boat ride. The old town area is very clean, safe and walkable. The tram is convenient, but we preferred walking. There are plenty of restaurants, but we felt that prices were a bit high with daily menus (3 items) for 20 to 40 euros. Good food and they were mostly very busy. English is spoken by most service staff, taxi drivers were an exception. The cathedral is very busy, but other very interesting churches are not busy at all and are worth visiting.

We used the map (1.50 euro) from the Strasbourg Tourist Office to do our own self-guided tour of the old town in the morning then did a 1h15 Batorama river cruise in an open-topped riverboat in the afternoon which was well worth the money (15.75 euro per person). You need to allow plenty of time to view the Strasbourg Cathedral of Notre-Dame both inside and out - the Astronomical Clock inside is a must see!

Strasbourg is clean, pedestrian friendly, with easy access to trains, buses and trams. We found it a bit confusing figuring out the transit system at first, but once done, they are great. We highly recommend the Modern Art Museum (and their cafe is lovely) and a visit to the European Parliament. The architecture in both is amazing.

Location, location, LOCATION. Fabulous location - short walk to Petit France tourist area and hotel surrounded by bars and restaurants. Easy walk to Cathedrale. I would stay again based on this. Easy walk from train station. Rooms were standard Ibis. Small and very little shelf or wardrobe space but adequate for 1 person. It was expensive for what it was but Strasbourg is expensive and staying at Kehl or Port du Rhin is almost same price and very boring (have tried that before) Just pay the money. You will be glad you did.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was very cozy and comfortable. The breakfast was very rich, it had great coffee, fresh fruits and fresh baked bread. You also can walk around the premises of the hotel which is just stunning. It's quiet and in the middle of nature. I would recommend to go by car since it's a bit outside of the city center of Strasbourg, you have great parking opportunity at the hotel itself. We had a great experience over all and are looking forward to come again.

This is the perfect hotel to stay in for a weekend getaway in Strasbourg. The location is perfect - so close to public transport and right in the Petite France area with heaps of cafes and restaurants and literally steps from the impressive cathedral. The room was small but I spent the majority of my time out exploring Strasbourg anyway. The area is very safe and it was absolutely magical walking around in the evening. The room was very clean and the reception staff were very helpful.

What a gem of a small hotel with a super authentic home-cooked regional traditional restaurant. Family-run, this motel-style hotel has an old-school charm and lovely welcoming staff and an excellent breakfast, with whole local cheese rounds, freshly prepared pâtés, cremant, champagne….. Beautifully quiet in a leafy suburb of Strasbourg, away from the bustle of the city centre, only a 20 minute walk from the main station.

I needed a hotel for a short stay in Strasbourg between two trains; this one did the job perfectly. The room was clean, and the breakfast was good (I would rate it very good for French standards, where the breakfast at hotels is often overpriced and disappointing). The hotel is very close to the train station but still quiet. The city centre is very close and can be easily reached by walking.
