Le Relais Du Mont Blanc is located 30 km from Chamonix, along the road in the village of Magland and close to the Grand-Massif Ski Resort.

Easy access and well located for many ski resorts just off the main Italy to France motorway. Rooms were comfortable. Parking was free. The restaurant was good as was the breakfast. Friendly staff and owner run feel. Really enjoyable stay.
Scionzier is a village right on the A40, next to Cluses.
Scionzier is a village right on the A40, next to Cluses. I stayed here because I went skiing in the French Alps. From Scionzier you are less than an hour from Portes Soleil and Chamonix. The apartment sleeps many and is good value for money

Hotel in middle of industrial area.
Hotel in middle of industrial area. Nothing to do or see everything closed. Including hotel.
Was not allowed into reception/ bar/ restaurant/swimming pool area. Confined to room , had to enter code to get out of property even on foot, then code to get back in.
Scionzier was a good location for an overnight stop having driven all day from UK. Staying here meant an easy start to get up the mountain next day to skiing resort Avoriaz. Host was very friendly, charming and eager to please.
The hotel is just off the main highway to a large area of the ski resorts in France. This was a perfect place to stay the night before driving up the mountain the next day.
