First of all - this is not a high end luxury place to stay. It’s very quirky. Very French. And quite simple. It wouldn’t suit everyone. BUT… we thought it perfect. It is absolutely charming, the hosts are a complete delight and the welcome overwhelmingly warm. The location is very rural - outside of a small village ( with few, if any amenities) but it makes a terrific base to explore the surrounding area (lots to see and do). The garden is beautiful. As are the views. The house is well equipped and immaculately clean. But it is the hosts who REALLY make it. A delightful couple - we arrived late after a long journey and we hadn’t eaten. No problem - our hosts conjured up fresh bread, eggs, yoghurt and an excellent bottle of cider. We needed to leave early and they both waved us off like close friends. We shall be back. Everything was there that was needed.Two shower rooms and a ground floor loo as well.Lovely and quiet,parking for our motorbikes.Seating and table on the patio plus two sun loungers ! Just watch your head on the stairs 😄😄 Hosts,Laurence was on phone when needed,Marcel and his lovely wife also helped with advice on our trip to the Normandy beaches. Superb.
