The location was perfect, in quiet pleasant St. Mandé, two metro stops from my place of business, the metro station for line 1, which takes you to the main sights of Paris, almost on the door step. The room was very quiet, the duvet was wider than the queen size bed. I slept very well. The tables in the restaurant were set with white tablecloths, business people dined there at lunchtime. The staff were friendly and attentive.

There are plentiful shops, restuarants, pharmacies, bakers, banking, grocery and clothing options. The metro stops in Saint Mande- M1 train. I recommend La Fraternite restuarant. Also La Tourvelle is excellent. The area brasseries are all quite nice. The Balmer Boulangerie (bakery) is excellent as is B Bakery. The fruit and juice stand across from the Balmer and near hotel Le Ruisseau is excellent (fresh squeezed smoothies 5 euros? Le Ruisseau is an exccelent choice for lodging.
The hotel is good in general; very near to the metro station, supermarkets and some restaurants. The staff are very friendly and cooperative. They do whatever they can to make you satisfied. I booked a family room, and all the family rooms in the hotel are in the ground floor, and since I don't like ground floor accommodation, I asked to change the room, and it was a surprise that they changed the family room with two double rooms with no extra charge! Actually, it was a very decent management.
This hotel is a very charming boutique hotel right near St. Mandé Métro stop. The hotel staff are fantastic; extremely helpful and personable. Terrific breakfast is offered daily.
The area around the hotel is pure French, open markets and little cafés. The short walk to the Métro stop opens up access to all areas of Paris with the greatest ease. Love, love, love this hotel!!
Great location next to metro & 10 mins from centre of Paris, which meant it was a little noisier than we are used to coming from a rural location. Pleasant staff & managed to park in front of hotel overnight for free to make an early departure to drive to Alps.
The Hotel was in a great location for us as we were visiting people in Saint Mande. However it was also great for going into central Paris as it is close to the metro and bus services. Plenty of restaurants in the area and the hotel.
