Beautiful room with plenty of space. Lovely hotel. Ate dinner in restaurant that evening and breakfast the next morning. All very nice and good friendly staff

Seems, it is very authentic - not sophisticatedly modern, but warm, comfortable and domestic place near the Old City. And the problem with late hosting was solved in a very charming way. The stuff speaks French only, but there were no critical barriers in conversation and it is the good opportunity to learn it ;-)

All the staff were welcoming and friendly. Room was a reasonable size and comfortable. There was a good selection of breakfast items and the buffet table was continuously kept topped up with fresh items. The restaurant meals were were reasonably priced and excellent.

The property is incredible, the attention to detail and the little touches make for an incredible stay.
Comfortable, very clean, and a great breakfast.
The host is an engineer, his workshop is amazing and the classic Renault rally car is unique.

Some really good restaurants but you need to book in advance as they all seemed to be busy in the evenings. Parking is quite good in the evenings but takes a bit of time finding a space during the day.
The hosts were great letting us check in earlier in the day. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped, one of the best I've ever seen in a rental place. And the apartment is right in the middle of Riom, one of the most characteristic French towns I've ever seen. Very close to great patisseries and food places. The wifi was great, the fridge was big, and while the cleaning fee is huge the place was very clean.
ACE hotels seem quite consistent in being clean and comfy and a little less cramped than B+B or Ibis Budget in my experience. The one in RIOM is conveniently located near a restaurant (Zinc) in the same complex but book ahead as the restaurant is always busy due to six budget hotels around it. Hotel location is quiet (no road noise) with some greenery space around it.
Breakfast was v good for choice but hot food was left out on unheated plates, so was NOT HOT!
Had stayed 2 weeks before at the next door budget hotel and thought an upgrade would be good. It was very little difference in rooms and equipment therein. Certainly not worth the upgrade Only benefit was the better choice at breakfast and bar was in the building.
We discovered this hotel travelling from Spain to Germany. I will stay here next time. The receptionist is absolutely lovely, professional and friendly. There are some good restaurants next to the hotel. Satisfaction for the price paid, very positive. The room is basic and clean. Modern style. More than enough for sleeping. Free and secure parking.
The friendliest welcome from the lovely Icelandic lady Brinja, who literally cannot do enough for her guests, comfortable accommodation and delicious food and wine in the evening.
If you are going to stay in Riom, don’t bother looking anywhere else!

The location of the Hotel just a kilometre or two from the autoroute was really convenient. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful, facilities and room comfort were excellent and the restaurant food was deliicious. It was a wonderful stay
Good location, next to the highway with good parking facilities. Pet friendly, which is a plus. Nice, neutral decor although it is already looking a bit old. Good value for money, nicely located between Paris and the South of France.
The staff at Riom Nord are exceptional - they are always friendly and welcoming and put themselves out to assist guests. My room was spotless and spacious, and had everything I needed. Breakfast was excellent! Highly recommended.

Rooms were well decorated and bed was SO comfortable. The breakfast was among the best I've seen at hotels, with fresh squeezed orange juice and lovely crepes. A very large variety of food.
The hotel is good and modern. Big parking, good wifi and 24/7 checking. The location is great, next to the highway - so it's very convenient to use it as an overnight stop during road trips.
