I found Le Clos Xavianne on Booking.com looking for a stop over on a long journey and I am glad I did. The room was very large and comfortable with excellent facilities. The host was very affable and pointed us to a lovely restaurant for dinner that evening. Breakfast was French style and generous with home made confiture. Set us off well for the next days travel.

The location was excellent - within walking distance of the lovely town of Cambrai and many restaurants and adjacent supermarket.. The staff were friendly. Plenty of free parking. Basics of a clean bed, kettle and hot shower all good.

It was a nice clean hotel with easy access to the motorway, the staff were friendly and helpful and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable if basic but good value for money. The breakfast was the standard selection, good choice and filling.
