The whole experience was superb, the food ,the gardens and swimming pool.
Florence & her Husband were a wonderful team and perfect hosts . The property has breathtaking views ,the area is nice and tranquil ,with a small village a short walk away with a restaurant and bar.
The breakfast was full of fresh food with a great choice of different homemade produce and beautifully presented. A great find .

The location was wonderful, surrounded by trees and birdsong and the gite itself was very artistically decorated, with interesting sculptures etc in the garden too. Our host was very considerate and charming. It was an easy drive into Privas and we found a great restaurant.

Pranles is a small village near Privas with a lovely small church, a watermill close by to which there is a very pleasant walk, and a very interesting museum about the persecution of Protestants in the 18th century nearby. The surrounding countryside is very pleasant, woodlands and farmland. If one were keen to be exploring the Ardeche Valley gorges in depth however Pranles and Privas are rather far north.
