The staff were all very welcoming and helpful in this rural hotel/bar/restaurant. Rooms are very spacious and clean and the hotel has plenty of charming character. Sitting outside having a chilled beer watching the world go by after a day on the road was very much welcomed followed by a magnificent typical ‘higher end’ French rustic meal cooked by the hosts - they could in fact make the starter and main meal slightly smaller so I could have had room for the deserts and cheese board. Breakfast was also very good and set the day up well. They also have locked secure free parking behind the hotel which was important to us.

A wonderful home from home in a chateau in Normandy and close enough to the toll road although you wouldn’t know from the peace and quiet
The rooms are very clean and well equipped. The beds are comfortable with clean fresh linen
The host, Jean-Francois is delightful, welcoming and can’t do enough for you
The table d’hote is fabulous and all home cooked and great value for money - definitely not to be missed and you get to try lots of Normandy local produce
