Friendly, helpful staff. First class,excellent breakfast. Superb dinner in the evening at the owners’ sister hotel in Loches sur Ource. Good rooms ( although we were given one without a balcony, having paid for a balcony room). But this didn’t matter to us as the weather was too wet to have sat out anyway! The swimming pool area has been improved and looks very attractive.

The location was quite close to the lake, unfortunately we didn't have time to visit it by foot. But when we were driving round to to locate the hotel, we did drive along the lake, it looked really good. We were told, in advance, that due to the hotel hosting a large group of people, the evening meal would be a set one. This turned out to be a superb meal. The staff were really good and helpful. The rooms were all chalet style, and were comfortable.
