Marie and Fred were lovely hosts, and extremely helpful. Marie loaned me a kettle to make hot drinks and plates and cutlery for our picnic evening meal which we enjoyed on the terrace. There are shared bathroom facilities, but it was not a problem. Also a few steps, so maybe not appropriate for those with mobility problems.
Excellent location on the side of the Loire. Two Restaurants 3km away.

The place is simply amazing.
Situated in the Loire valley a Manor from XV century restored with love and kept with amazing care.
The owners are lovely, caring, helpful and extremely nice.
The room was amazingly big, retaining original features and displaying an attention to details beyond compare.

I love the area. I was able to explore the area along the Loire. I came to see the Chateau de Brissac, but was also very impressed by the Chateau Mazé recommended by a local. Plus, I really enjoy the Guinguette, La Riviera nearby at St Remy la Varenne where I bought a book" Loire Enchantée" of beautiful aquarelles by A. Mercier which I used as a guide book of all the little towns along the Loire.
