We arrived exhausted after a very hot cycle from Saumur and were met by Marie with a cold glass of local apple juice. The rooms are beautifully styled and the breakfast was amazing. We all very much enjoyed our stay here.

Lovely ambience
An advertised late breakfast is hard for cyclists who need to get away when it is cool. But we appreciated arrangements being made for us to have an earlier breakfast .
I love the area. I was able to explore the area along the Loire. I came to see the Chateau de Brissac, but was also very impressed by the Chateau Mazé recommended by a local. Plus, I really enjoy the Guinguette, La Riviera nearby at St Remy la Varenne where I bought a book" Loire Enchantée" of beautiful aquarelles by A. Mercier which I used as a guide book of all the little towns along the Loire.
