breakfast was good. Parking was private and plenty of spaces. However the hotel is on an industrial estate and not in the town as we expected.

Fabulous room in 16th century tower, close to cathedral and historic centre of the city.
Set in Le Puy en Velay, 2.6 km from Centre Culturel et de Congrès Pierre Cardinal, villa provençale STEVENSON offers accommodation with spa facilities and wellness packages.
Plenty to do, lots to see, good restaurants & shops.
Plenty to do, lots to see, good restaurants & shops. Wonderful surrounding area with castles, lakes and waterfalls. The Museum Crozatier has excellent displays explaining the geological formation of the key features. The lace-making centre does full- or half-day courses - maybe next time!

This small inn is exquisite for its historic experience and modern comfort. The host was both charming and helpful (booking a taxi on short notice when taxis in the area are limited).
Of our five accommodations, this inn was our favourite on our trip through France.

Excellent location; for exploring the old city, area. Great history of the 16th century lodge, which is renovated into this lovely building.
The owner, was extremely helpful, helping me get settled; after my late arrival. Also; very accommodating when it was time to relocate, and prepare for my “Camino de Saint Jacques”.

Unless you haven't noticed there is an international pandemic occurring. One of the negative effects of this has been the closure of boarders in Europe including France. Hence I haven't stayed at this hotel!!!!!!

The medieval festival in September is spectacular.
The medieval festival in September is spectacular. It is wonderful to see 6000 people in elaborate and beautiful costumes enjoying the medieval/renaissance atmoshpere. Dancing, listening to minstrels, walking from venue to venue, interesting theater, seeing the fabrication of medieval arms (arrows, axes, knives), eating, drinking, shopping for costumes, furs, slingshots, arrows, horns, chapeaux), watching falconers - all is so enjoyable! Congratulations to everyone in the town who contributes to this fantastic community spirit!

A traditional old French town with a limited number of attractions, some requiring a climb. We made it up to the Rocher St Michel (268 steps but with strategically located benches), skipped Notre Dame de France (at least the rock has a chapel at the top and not a garish statue), and visited the cathedral. A good day's worth of tourism. Recommend Le Chamarlenc for food.

Small well-run hotel with nice touches like a puzzle to complete in the main area, local newspaper, recommendations for restaurants, breakfast buffet with local products etc...
Beds are comfortable with good linens with the freshly laundered smell, windows that can be opened
Good lighting for reading and tasteful decoration
Parking is secured
Staff is friendly and smiling
We paid for a dinner and breakfast package and it proved to be great value. The hotel seems to cater for business travelers with all evening dining tables taken by a lone person (mainly males). I thought there would be some restriction on our dinner package but it proved to be the same as available for everyone else. Very pleased with our stay.
Good location with reserved underground parking in the parking lot across the street (need to get parking code from reception first). Clean and comfy and airco works fine but a bit slowly. Can easily walk to most places from the hotel. Breakfast is good and there is free tea and coffee near the reception. Staff were very friendly.
This is an exceptional residence. This is an ancient hotel that has been renovated and decorated to be perfectly comfortable. The host is probably the most thoughtful and kind host I have ever encountered in my many decades of travel.
The apartment is very nicely laid out, with large windows in the main room with nice views and lighting. Very clean. It's a nice space to relax in. Good location, only a few blocks from all the attractions in Le Puy-en-Velay.
The Hostess was very nice, friendly and an easy going woman. BF was fine, and our the hostes brought every morning freshly baked bread to the flat. The appartment is very convenient located in the City of Le Puy en Valey
Near to the main road for our onward journal but close enough to walk into the centre of Le Puy en Velay. Enough onsite parking for a busy night at the hotel. A good breakfast with plenty of choice, local foods provided.
The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The breakfast room was lovely. The front desk staff were very helpful in giving me instructions to enter the hotel late at night. The location was easy to find.
This was my second stay at this property. It is well situated on a quiet pedestrian lane in the heart of Le Puy. There is plenty of room and the kitchen is well equipped. It's clean and comfortable.
Availability of parking in the middle of a large city - excellent location. We also got a discount off our bill in a nearby restaurant as we were staying at this hotel, which was a pleasant surprise.
The room was quiet, clean, very comfortable and had a great window with a view of the city. The staff was very kind and accommodating. I ate in the hotel restaurant twice and it was quite good.
A lovely hotel, perfectly located in the medieval part of the town. Beautifully decorated, with such attention to detail throughout. The owner couldn’t have been more helpful or courteous.
The hotel was alright with a good location, but the attendant kept making noise outside our room and demanding we go eat breakfast. The hotel didn’t charge us for breakfast.
