Cosy Wood House is located just off road, in a very picturesque, and quiet area in Laubressel. It's not far from Lac Orient, a huge lake with plenty of walking areas for dogs, and lots of water sports.
The self contained apartment is part of a complex which includes additional rooms with shared facilities. It's an ingenious idea :D There's parking for around 4 cars, outdoor areas with seats and bbq facilities.
We had the self contained apartment and it was lovely, the images on Booking.com don't do it justice. It's an 'L' shaped area, on the ground floor. Access is from the rear of the complex, where you enter into the kitchen, and go around to the sleeping area. The sofa bed was made, ready to sleep on, and there's a very comfortable double bed with side tables and lamps.
There are double glazed doors giving access to the parking area (making it easy to bring in bags) and outdoor shared patio. We used the rear area to sit outside (a little more private) and enjoy the sun set. The bathroom has a lovely walk-in shower, toilet, a good sized washbasin.
Ome Sweet Home is a B&B located in Laubressel, 13 km from Troyes. It offers rooms with private bathroom and garden views. A sauna and massages are also provided.

We had the double bedroom with the wet room shower. Bedroom large, bed comfortable, patio doors with own area. The swimming pool was closed as early June, but we sat on the chairs by the pool with a coffee in the sun. Area is very quiet on the edge of a village. The hosts were very helpful and polite. They informed us of 3 nearby restaurants and we ate at the Belvedere at the nearby lake - dinner there was vey good. Breakfast was excellent - selection of breads with salami, ham, plate of local cheeses, fruit and yogurt, croissant and pan au chocolate. All the meats, cheeses and yogurt came from local farms and the ham is the best ham I've tasted for 60 years. I would recommend this B&B. It is also close to the autoroute. There is a LeClerc supermarket at the motorway junction, so we went there on the way home for petrol and buy rolls and cheese for the journey home. Ome Sweet Home was a real find.

I was only here for one night, travelling from Caromb in the south of France back to the UK.
It's a convenient stop, close to the autoroute. It's a very pretty place, with lots of lovely countryside around. The Lac Orient is great place to visit for lots of outdoor activities. There's also an E Le Clerk supermarket and filling station close by.

Lovely place to look at but not to stay.Not even a drink could be had after our long journey .We had 3 little grandchildren and we could not even get water for them .- directed to a nearby town for drinks and food .
Yves et Chantal were very friendly, helpful and charming. Each morning they prepared a typical French breakfast of local cheese, meat, fruit, bread etc. There is also a swimming pool, with a surrounding patio. The rooms are large, spacious and comfortable. Laubressel is a small, very quiet village, and immediately on arrival you are relaxed. The City of Troyes is about 15 minutes' drive away. If you want lots of noise, bright lights and entertainment, please don't come here!! Leave it for us!!
Good location, spacious room, reasonable breakfast, free parking, host very humble and friendly, guided us to a restaurant where we got a discount due to us staying at this hotel, nice and warm room during the cold November visit
Perfect, our second time here, a beautiful place, hosts are charming , pool is a dream, love everything about staying here, beds are best I have slept on in hotels/b&b.
