The hotel is smarter on the inside than from the outside. We were upgraded to a spacious room with a lovely view and a comfortable sitting area .
Breakfast was good, but we were sadly disappointed to find that the restaurant was closed on that evening ( Monday). I don't recall that being mentioned on the website, and after a long day driving we depend upon being able to eat in the hotel. We do not want to drive into town. We therefore had to settle for pizzas in the hotel bar. These were not served very hot and were somewhat disappointing. It rather spoiled our stay.
We did enjoy an evening walk from the hotel, and parking was easy
