Great place for a relaxing stay. The hotel is located in a very calm village and has a very extensive garden where you han relax after a firm hike. Drinks are available all day. The restaurant is a real great restaurant and has a fixed menu. That makes it less suitable to stay more than 4 days as you may end up with the same dish again. But there are some nice brasseries nearby too. The hotel is ideal to stay when wanting to visit le Grand Ballon. Parking space in the immediate neighbourhood.

The rooms were very comfortable. The beds were high quality and the pillows were soft and plentiful. The blackout shades on the Velux windows made morning sleep a breeze for our toddler. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating and made us feel right at home. The selection of local wines on the menu was excellent. It was an easy five minute drive to the local town of Soultzmatt with some great tasting opportunities and tidy streets to stroll on.

There are only few hotels around this lovely part of Alsace, and we were lucky to find this one. Rooms are clean, cute and have a special character, we might say they even look a bit like a dollhouse style. But comfortable, with AirCon.
Hosts are friendly and caring, hotel has a great parking area and is located inside the little village but within grasp of nature and Thierenbach church and surroundings. We would consider this place great value for money.
The dinner food at the restaurant was fantastic! The hotel is run by a lovely couple who were very helpful and accommodating. The rooms and beds were super comfortable. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked again for a second stay! Perfectly placed for driving south, e.g. to the Italian lakes, if you want to stop off on the drive down close to the Swiss border.

well the hotel itself is cute, has a charm and the pool area is really nice. not too crowded and the rooms are huge..also the balcony is very nice overlooking the forest.
