The kitchen was well equiped and clean. We did not meet the owner until we were leaving the next morning. She was gracious as we think she is new to Booking vs Air b&b. We had read that breakfast was good; but, since there was a misunderstanding she did not know, or ask whether we wanted breakfast. We did! She was apologentic. We had to go elsewhere to get something for breakfast.

Great location, very friendly and hospitable owner. We were suprised that this is not a stand alone living (dont think it was mentioned in description), however for 1 night stay over it was good + the owner did everything for us to feel welcome and comfortable.
My friend and I rented this property for five nights in January - one, if not the coldest month of the year in Medoc. There was frost at night but the gite was pleasantly warm and though there was not a radiator in every room it was well insulated and very well appointed. Great value for money and within walking distance of the centre of Hourtin, a large supermarket plus usual services.
A compact little house situated on the edge of Hourtin built in a small complex of three similar houses. Quite new and very clean. Electrical heating throughout which appears to be quite common in that area. Kitchenette rather cramped but fully equipped. Tiled floor rather cold during November.
Spacious, great kitchen and cooking utensils, comfortable beds, WiFi good, nice and cool in hot weather. Lovely garden and shaded dinning area with barbecue. Great welcome from the owners. Close to amenities, can walk or cycle to lake easily. Enjoyed market in Hourtin and local restaurant.
The property was very modern recently built. The campsite was very laid out with trees, shrubs and flowers. There was a lovely swimming pool on site and a pretty campsite bar. It was located within walking distance of Hourtin village.
