Thomas is the best host ever. I went in July and it was such a nice stay. Very easy to connect with people, cook some dinner together, take surfclasses .. There was a real cosy and warm vibe in the hostel. At night it was the perfect place to have a laugh, a drink and some talks with Thomas or other guests. Felt like one big family. 💚🌻 even considering going back.

I enjoyed staying at the hotel on the beach, unfortunately the town and area is undergoing roadworks, and once I was able to navigate round them to the hotel, it didn't effect my stay.
There are plenty of places to eat and lots of lovely shops to browse around.

This was not our first visit to Lacanau, we will certainly come again as we really like it. But probably not in the high season, Can be very crowded at weekends and parking is limited.
We usually come in the spring or at the tail end of the season, There is a great variety of restaurants from seafood to pizza and which fit all budgets - all within walking distance of eachother.
Great beach, surfing clubs. lively at night.

Great location, easy to eat out or self cater, far enough from the centre to not hear the night life as much. Town has plenty of shops and restaurants and night life if you looking for it. Great views of sunsets from the balcony. 1 minute walk and you're on the beach, very convenient location. Apartment prepared for self dining if wish to.

Enormous sandy beach great for surfing, lots of surf schools around. Good bars serving tapas and cocktails very close by. Good selection of restaurants for all budgets. Lots of takeaway food available. Very good place for youngsters. Would be concerned about swimming as its the ocean and there was no lifeguard on duty but i believe they do have supervised bathing in the high season. If you are not a surfer, there are loads of designated cycling paths which go through the lovely pine forests. Its great for walkers too. Nearby lakes have facilities for sailing and windsurfing and there is golf about 5kilometeres out of town.
The hosts Sandrine and Laurent mdr us feel welcome. Everything was easy and we felt their subtle presence was really about making us feel great and to simplify our stay . The property of nice and clean easy to access and the decorations give it a nice holiday touch . We got all the basics infos from Our hosts to kick start our holiday and felt like having insiders tips on the area . For staying in a guest house , Sandrine and Laurent really created. The perfect holiday nest and they add the perfect vibe with their kindness and attentions
Loved the hotel it was beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable and stylish. I loved the outdoor pool and the spa. It was a really good location and close to lacanu-ocean. We were able to hire bikes from the hotel, which was great. We would stay here again.

Very well maintained and clean little hotel. Rooms are new and simple but nicely decorated. Breakfast is very affordable. The owners are very nice and friendly.
