Virginie and her husband were very welcoming and helpful. Our gite was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed being able to use the swimming pool too.
It was handy to shop and get petrol at the supermarket in Gemozes which also had a good bakery and the Lion D'Or hotel where we enjoyed an excellent Formule Midi lunch (seems very popular with the local clientele).
Access to the coast or attractions further inland was easy.

The location was perfect for what we needed, the breakfast was plentiful and really tasty. The rooms were clean, spacious and the owners were very welcoming. The gardens were brilliant for the children to play in.

Coming to Gemozac for work, I found this cosy, fully equiped room attached to the main house but with a private entrance. The lovely owner could not have been more welcoming. With secure under cover parking, I would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Location is the great selling point for this unexpected delight. Looking straight out onto the historic Donjon de Pons, above a nice cafe where you can get a pleasant reasonably priced dinner. Extremely clean and newly painted, and a pleasant reception from staff at the downstairs cafe. Easy parking opposite. Drift off to sleep to murmurs from the cafe and the sound of the fountain.

What an amazing place to stay, a beautiful home and friendly atmosphere , could not do enough for you . Continental breakfast was just enough. Would highly recommend, and hopefully we will stay again ..exactly as described on booking .com
Every so often you find a gem of a hotel. This was just off the motorway, which was ideal as we were on-route to Spain. We arrived late at about 8pm. The welcome was so friendly. We asked if the restaurant was still open? The reply, "We have been waiting for you".... The restaurant was superb, we both had the steak tartare - to die for! Easy to park just outside. Nice breakfast in the morning. Room was clean, bathroom/shower modern. Just wish we were in the area more often.

Breakfast was excellent. Bedroom was ideal and the bathroom well equipped. Location was very convenient and easy to find. Gemozac had a live music event and a barbecue which was a pleasant surprise.
