This is my second stay at Auberge des Pins as I seem to pass through Sabres during my cycling adventures in the area (this time Pau to Bordeaux mini break). It never disappoints: Bike friendly place, friendly staff, spacious clean rooms with view to green quiet garden/park. And the restaurant is, without a doubt, the best in town!

Lovely location and gardens, beautifully maintained. Very comfortable room and very clean. We managed via Google translate to communicate with Valerie & Pascal, who kindly booked us a local restaurant as my husband is coeliac (gluten free). Had a lovely morning walk around garden with our dog who loved it ! We will definitely return again on our next trip through France in September / October.

Given the fact that it is a tiny house everything is a bit tiny but it is all there. Close to the road but still quiet in the woods. A couple of fighter jets from the military base cut through the silence every now and then but they don't really bother me and they don't fly at night. The host Benjamin is very welcoming. There is a beautiful pool right in front of the cabin and the shower is good. It's clean and comfortable.
