Everything. This is a stylish and comfortable home in a beautiful setting close to the lovely town of Saintes. Marie is a gracious and attentive host who has poured her soul into this gorgeous house and garden. We hope to return for a longer stay in better weather. Take time to walk the meadow, where I found orchids growing as I was accompanied by one of the cats. A visit to the revered cedar, Celeste, from whom the the 'Loge' takes its name, is a must. Very moden decor in reception and restaurant and very easy to park. The food in the restaurant was good. However, there was no cooked food at the breakfast buffet My bed was very comfortable

A very impressive hotel set in beautiful grounds. On arrival we were impressed - through a gated entrance up a drive to a spacious secure car park. There was a row of Tesla chargers for those those with electric vehicles. The gardens were beautiful and we enjoyed a wander past the large ponds with swans and ducks. We made use of the swimming pool which was well presented and had good changing facilities. All the rooms have names and ours was 20,000 Leagues under the Sea. Whoever had designed the room was very talented and we enjoyed it’s features - we took several photos. The room had an electric shutter, air conditioning, remote control lights and a fridge - the only thing we would have liked was tea/coffee facilities. There was a high end restaurant on site. Overall very impressive.
