The rooms were spacious and well equipped (but choose a "king size" room). The staff were charming and the view of the surrounding mountains was superb. The best surprise was the food. Dinner was imaginative with a good choice and perfectly cooked and presented. Breakfast was excellent with a good buffet, fresh squeezed orange juice and eggs cooked to order (e.g. scrambled with smoked salmon or truffles, omelette with herbs or cheese, ............ ).

Its history was a surprise, having an enormous cathedral as testament to being an archbishopric covering about a quarter of what is now France, and delivering a pope, all around 1000 years ago. We were there height of season, and the better restaurants were almost fully booked in advance. It pays to plan !
Perfect for us. Everything in the apartment worked perfectly and it was clean. Checkin was simple.
This was a temporary base before moving to Les orres ski resort and it was a great. Although the apartment doesn't have views the walks nearby are pretty and you are in easy reach of all main shops and transit links.
We stayed another night in an hotel embrun a week later and I regret not booking here again as it was great for us especially as we're vegans and rely on self catering.
Very friendly staff, warm welcome. The room is very basic small, no problem if you just use it for sleeping. The bed was comfortabel enough. The room has its own compact bathroom with toilet and shower which is nice to have. All and all a fine stay for the price in Embrun if you are not asking to much in terms of space of Luxury.
Great hotel worth a detour; we would definitely like to come back and try the spa and the pool. Very nice personnel, and a comfortable room, very comfortable, spotless clean and offering a nice view. This very clean and comfortable apartment is in an excellent location to explore Embrun. It had everything we needed. We were lucky enough to be in Embrum for the Fête Médiévale and this apartment was perfect to be close to the activities whilst also being quiet. There was good communication with the host.
The hotel is impeccable. Staff extremely friendly and polite, cleanliness 10 points, the style, the size of the room - everything was great starting from communication before check in. The hotel deserves staying longer than 1 night to enjoy it fully and to make use of all pleasures it offers.
