Although the owner said he didn't speak English well, he was brilliant. We were made so welcome, even considering he had a big family gathering that evening. We were looked after and well fed. If we return that way we will certainly be booking there again.

Butterfly Cottage is a great property in a great location. It's host Charlotte is a lovely lady who cannot do enough for you and she and the cottage provided us with one of the best holidays we have had. If you get the opportunity to sample her cooking in the restaurant take it, the food is absolutely amazing and has to be tasted to be believed. Without a doubt if you get the opportunity to stay at this property take it, you will not regret it.

Charlotte and her merry band are amazing hosts. We only booked our rooms 20 mins or so before we turned up and yet it was no problem for them at all.
We were very well looked after and we all sat outside enjoying everyone's company.
We were served fresh cooked Tortillas as snacks before our evening meal and it was just a perfect stay.
We will be staying her again next time we pass through, that is for certain.
We were on a motorbike trip with 5 bikes and even the parking was perfect.
I couldn't praise the property highly enough. Carl & Alex the owners were excellent hosts. The room and bathroom were fantastic. Lots of choices for Breakfast. Had a lovely home cooked meal in the evening. And very affordable prices. Secure parking for my motorbike. Bikers welcome. Great location for touring around Central France or the west coast. Beautiful back roads. 5 stars in my book
