The facilities and layout were very good and the general ambiance was characterful. It would provide an ideal base to explore the area over several days. The location was peaceful.

The main thing that let it down was the restaurant at the side had been shut for 6 months so there was no where to eat 4 taxi firms refused to come to the hotel because of the roadworks so we had to walk down the main road on the grass to find somewhere to eat which would have been a disaster had it been raining

The bathrooms are exceptionally good, the decor uplifting, the parrot very musical!
Restaurant was good at midday. Unfortunately they did not have staff to open in the evening but recommended a nice place just up the street.
We complained about a smoker in the bar but the staff did nothing about it.

One of the quietest hôtels I have slept in. Was making my first trip back to the UK after losing my husband very suddenly. The staff didn't know, but were all very kind and helpful.
The food was also delicious and the room very confortable, as well as having curtains which kept out the light...perfect!
I was worried about being on my own..particularly under the circumstances...but felt fine being a solo traveller
Beautifully furnished and finished hotel. The owners are obviously and should be very proud. Room was lovely. Dinner was fabulous. Monsieur and Madame and one very lovely waitress appeared to do everything front of house and were really delightful. I think it helps if you can try to speak a little bit of French with them.
Breakfast was very good. Rooms were clean and well laid out. Staff were all friendly, helpful and always tried hard to please us. We were traveling down to South West France on motorcycles and used the hotel for an overnight stop, we liked the hotel so much that we booked again for our return journey.

chic town, lt has a very nice garden which was ideal for our dog and a larger park close by. The manager was very helpful and accommodating of our needs. We definitely will use again on our journeys to and from Spain.
The hotel has been nicely refurbished. We really liked our room and the en-suite bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty and had a good selection of foods. The female waiting staff was very friendly and forthcoming. On-site parking for motorcycles was a big bonus.
