The property is remotely located at approx 4000 ft above sea level which is part of it’s appeal. The rooms are basic as described but very clean and spacious. We had a family room featuring a mezzanine floor with two single beds for the kids upstairs and a double downstairs. There is no aircon but the design of the building and the elevation means that you don’t need it. Night temperatures are cool to make for a comfortable nights sleep. We ate in the restaurant for our evening meal and breakfast and the food was excellent for both. As other have noted local produce is offered and was enjoyed by all of us. The views are excellent.

The Beau Site is located in Loubaresse, in the Auvergne region. It features a heated outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court and gastronomic dining with stunning views of the Garabit Viaduct.

Excellent facilities, comfortable stay in perfect location. Close to motorway which was very handy for an overnight stay. Wonderful shower. Parking right out outside your own private entrance.
