We only stayed for one night and the place is quite accessible from the Spanish border. Host was very responsive and accommodating since we booked last minute and arriving late at night. Quiet little place. Comfy bed. Ample space for parking since we are driving a 2m long van.

Good communication at check in and checkout. Info pack provided before checkin.
Particularly appreciated the kitchen which was very well equipped with good quality appliances.
The location is fantastic as it is only 5 or 6 minutes walk to the centre of St Jean. The appartment is very quiet and a nice place to relax.

Restaurants in Socoa are excellent and the walk along from Ciboure is wonderful.
St Jean de Luz is also just an easy walk away - a lovely town with a lovely beach, lots of bars, restaurants and bistros. Well worth a visit.

Ciboure is a smallish French Basque village with a great deal of charm. It tends to be quieter than its neighbour across the Nivelle river, but that more liverly resort is easily walked to across the bridge, so best of both worlds. Ciboure has easy walking around a circular bay with lots of places to eat or shop. Views are very picturesque and just right to sit and watch the world go by.

The harbour is full of houses built in Bask style and looks amazing. The town has been built on the hill, so, you get down and then have to climbe back for a long time. Some shops and cafes, but cross the bridge and you are in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, where you will find everything.

Such a charming small town.
Such a charming small town. Worth staying a couple of nights. It is perfect for couples and families with children, trying to get away from the bustling city life for a couple of days.
We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the walking paths along the shore and proximity to both Handaye and Saint Jean de Luz.

Ciboure is a quiet spot with interesting little streets and small cut-throughs. It has very distinctively Basque architecture. It has some good restaurants but, in February at least, they are all closed on Tuesday evening and all day Wednesday however there is a truck with good take-away pizzas. There appear to be walks up the hill (but we did not try them) and along the beachfront. It does not appear to be the place for wild parties.

Ciboure was a 5 minute walk to St Jean de-luz and saved us money as a result. It was an easy walk, all flat. There was a nice walk the other way to Socoa which had a nice beach, marina, sea side restaurants and a castle.
This hotel is an old building that has been updated to accommodate modern tastes. Much of the historical parts have been preserved, creating a unique charm, but the rooms are fully updated and modern. The AC was great and we had a comfortable stay. We did not have breakfast. The staff at the front desk was really wonderful, giving us lots of great information and very friendly. He set us off for dinner up the road at a great place, and we completely enjoyed our stay.
The location of this hotel is good, within fairly easy walking distance of St Jean de Luz. In late April 2023, there was a lot of construction work being done on the overpass area, so some of the normal walking paths were disrupted, although there were alternatives available. Parking was pretty easy, either in the public lot in front of the hotel or the garage itself. Signage to the parking was non-existent or not obvious at all.
The balcony with the marvellous view of the bay of St Jean de Luz and the river. Very comfortable in every way. Off street parking. Good breakfast. The host was welcoming and charming. Very clean. The great walk on shower. A fridge. The tea and coffee making facilities were amazing with much more than normal provisions. We'd definitely love to return.
Sparkling clean, stylish and cozy apartment, fully furnished, also a well-equipped kitchen, and a modern washing machine. 10 minutes walk to the city center. Large heated pool, only accessible for hotel guests!
Heating was useful during the night (we stayed beginning of october).
Self-check-in worked out smoothly.
The hotel enjoys a beautiful location overlooking the sea. The room was spacious and comfortable. Having the nice French breakfast in this very charming ambiance offers a perfect start into the new day.
The owner and his wife were great, friendly and helpfull. The breakfasts were good value for money. All four of us had a lovely time in St Jean, made all the better because of the quality of the hotel.
Beautiful old building. Very helpful host on arrival. Very comfortable and well equipped and a great location for exploring ciboure and st jean de luz.
Very nice place inside. Easy to park nearby.
Staff was very attentive, they willingly helped us with our problem. I can’t thank enough for their help. There is public parking close to the hotel. But this is all advantages I can mention.

- super comfy bed
- nice balcony with a view
- equipped with everything you need
- big shower
- 5 minutes driving to st jean de luz
- easy check-in
