Fabulous gite. Phillippe was very welcoming and always at hand if anything was required. The location was rural but close enough to shops etc and there was a lovely lake close by to swim and picnic at.

The location is very accessible for travelling north or south through this part of France, whilst the house itself is discretely located, set in woodland, and extremely peaceful. The accommodation is of a high standard, very clean, and a successful mix of a contemporary idiom within historic buildings, all beautifully renovated. Both supper and breakfast were excellent, home cooked, and with very good local wine.
