It was beautiful, the food was outstanding and mostly home grown. They made a real effort for my celiac friend. It was perfect. We were walking the Camino and would recommend this place to other pilgrims.
It was a unique experience. We had personal attention from our host from the moment we arrived.
The whole place was beautifully preserved 18th century chic with modern essential services. The bed was had fine linen sheets and pillows that felt like puffy clouds.
The breakfast had a choice of 5 delicious homemade jams from the chateaus own produce.
We were beginning to wonder if we had mistaken the cost and it was going to be 95eu per head but no it was only 95 for two of us of us. Brilliant!
Location was perfect, in the heart of Charlieu. The property was absolutely beautiful from the historical rooms to the beautiful garden. Outdoor facilities beautiful. Owners were helpful and friendly. Could not fault it. Absolutely stunning
