- Great value
This is probably my best stay in a Premiere Classe hotel that I can remember. When I travel through France, I often choose between Ibis Budget and several other budget options. For this location and area, Premiere Classe had the best price offering for my needs.
I arrived around 3:30AM, much later than I had anounced when booking. There was a check-in terminal near the entrance, but it was turned off, because the reception was open. I met a very awake and friendly receptionist who sent me with just enough knowledge of English to my room.
Once I was upstairs, I discovered that the Wifi login procedure was not working as shown on the login page. So I had to go to the reception again to have it explained. After that, I could use the Wifi OK.
Premiere Classe hotels all have a very similar motel-style setup with relatively small rooms and external stairways. This one was no different. However, the cleanliness and comfort was certainly OK in this one.
Just south of Tours, near the famous Loire Valley castles, the Campanile Tours Sud hotel is close to the A10 motorway and offers quiet, comfortable accommodation and a restaurant.
Located a 10-minute drive from the centre of Tours, the ibis Tours Sud features free Wi-Fi internet access and a free private parking. The A10 and A85 motorways are within a short distance.

The area is fine The hotel is definitely not. Dirty.
The area is fine The hotel is definitely not. Dirty. Broken fittings. Bad smell. Toilet flush broken. Soap dispensers empty. The first room had a broken sink. We were told they were full. We asked for a refund and were then shown to another room which is the one we have reviewed. Not happy that Booking.com are associated with this property.

Hard to find ( I was travelling by bicycle), Google maps didn't help at all! Not the hotels' fault though!
WC cubicles don't have a sink for handwashing, not good.
Staff helpful, room, showers etc were clean, breakfast basic but ok.
Eating places a short walk away, I liked 'Flunch', good value, open till at least 9pm.

Convenience for an over night stay, not far from the motor way, clean, comfy bed, lots of hot water, friendly staff, easy check in and check out, free over night parking, eat as much as you like buffet style breakfast, although a little more choice would have been nicer. All said, it serves the purpose for a cheap o0ver night stay.

Chambray is conveniently near the major motorways which we have to use when we travel from our home in the south of France. Chambray also has varied places to eat if you don't want to eat in the hotel. We only ever stay one night each way en route from our homes in Wales and France, so we can't make further comments about Chambray itself.

The staff were friendly and phoned before we arrived to warn us what time the restaurant was closing. The hotel had plenty of secure parking. Spare pillows were provided in the room and the beds were comfortable. There was a kettle in the room. The shower was a large walk-in style shower. When my alarm clock suddenly stopped working the staff were even able to provide me with some spare batteries - thank you! Breakfast included some very tasty scrambled egg.
Because of the Pandemia we didn't have neither dinner nor breakfast in the hotel. The staff foollowed the health protocols in FR and asked for the covid certificate (passe sanitaire). Our qr codes were scanned. We got a green sticker on our room card and could have joined the restaurant if we had liked it. The hotel underwent a modernization. It is now more comfortable and the lobby even more cosy.
It looks outside not much on an industrial area.
On the otherside of the building a huge garden and swimmingpool. Children safe and lots to do . Really recommended for families and single travellers. Very nice atmosphere during sundown and night. Feeling like camping area with luxury of a hotel. Staff is great!
Other hotels of the same standard that we have stayed at in the past have been noisy late at night with guests banging doors and talking loudly. This time at the Myriad Tours Sud, it was very peaceful, thank you. This left us better the next day. Also the location is very good for restaurants nearby.
They modernized the lobby, the restaurant and the rooms. The new look invites to spent a little bit more time there having a drink or a meal. It's a small oasis close to the highway on a trip crossing central France from the north to the southwest and vice versa.
The staff are excellent , nothing is to much trouble. The room was basic but clean, tidy, had TV and free wifi. The hotel next door might possibly have fluffier towels and possibly a larger choice of the breakfast but at two or three times the cost for the night.
Very good location for overnight stop en route to/from Spain, close to the motorway but very quiet location. Clean, well taken care of, dog was allowed here. Nice bathroom for a hotel in this category. Breakfast was a good deal, good offerings.
The best part of this excellent value hotel was the helpful guy on reception. He is a credit to the hotel 👍👍
I liked the little room heater as my bike gear was soaking wet so I was able to dry them a fair bit by morning 😎
It was located in a good place with restaurants and stores nearby. It was inexpensive.
The front desk guy was very nice and spoke English which is rare in France. He was very helpful.
The room was much cleaner and bigger than expected. the outside looks worse than the inside. For a quick sleep over in a cheap hotel you can't go wrong. I will use again when I pass.
Great stop-over hotel on the way to/from Spain or Portugal. Secure parking right in front and quiet location yet very close to the motor way. Pleasant neighborhood for a walk.
The hotel has good facilities especially the outdoor pool, garden and indoor games area so it's great for families. The breakfast was good and on site food/bar were fine.
