It was self catering so no breakfast. We liked the down stairs lounge area, the dishwasher and the garden area.
The location is excellent. An easy walk to the shops, restaurants, the beach. The house does stand on a crossroads so is a little noisy at times.

Cabourg is a real holiday town and very popular. Consequently, it is very busy in August, so bear this in mind if you are not keen on crowds. There are numerous restaurants catering for a variety of tastes but you need to pre-book at the most popular ones, to avoid disappointment. The beach is big and wide and very clean. There are several car parks but if you are visiting for the day, plan in advance.

Very pretty and friendly town with beautiful flowers everywhere. Plenty of parking. Lovely Normandy architecture, lots of gorgeous shops, great bars and restaurants where the food never disappoints. Massive beaches with a 5km promenade where you can watch the sunset every night as they are more beautiful every night. Cabourg is easy to get to especially from Caen/Ouistreham (25 minutes:away).

Cabourg is not a big city, but very nice, quiet, and with many activities around ! -- well, if there was just a sea side only, it would be already enough to have a great stay ;-)) but there are many historical places to discover, many various activities to try (both for kids and parents), and so many nice different food experiences to try !

Cabourg has a special character as a seaside resort.
Cabourg has a special character as a seaside resort. It not only has miles of beautiful beach, but also a lot of beautiful architecture. It has an old-fashioned elegance, but also modern comforts. Even though it is small, It seems to bustle all year round and is no less beautiful on a grey day. The casino has a lot of live music events, with free entry, and is a beautiful Belle Epoque building in itself.
Good facilities including good sized pool with lots of sunbeds. Room was quiet and comfortable including a bed that unlike so many hotels wasn’t too hard. Short drive into Cabourg where there is a good choice of restaurants.
The gite was very pleasant, but situated too far from the hotel to make it worth having meals at the hotel, so I did not eat at the hotel at all. Very good value for money.
Lovely apartment with lots in light in a great location. Easy walk over the bridge into Cabourg with a sandy beach and fabulous selection of restaurants and bars.
