The position of the hotel and that there was a restaurant situated near the ocean. The food was delicious
In the middle of the oyster region off the Bay of Biscay, Hotel Phoebus is 4 km from the Ronce-les-Bains beach and 7 km from La Coubre forest. A patisserie and tea shop is under the hotel.

Bourcefranc captures solely the persons that seek relaxation...
Bourcefranc captures solely the persons that seek relaxation and hassle free travel. It's close to a fishing seaport so the chance of you enjoying the hospitality and the grand cuisine of the locals will most definitely happen. It's safe to explore at anytime of the day or night with historical monuments and churches that are mostly free to visit. My ideal places to tour nearby are Port de Plaisance de Saint Denis d'Oléron, Port des Barques, Beach La Brée-les-Bains, and Le Chateau-d'Oléron, and Marennes. My favourite seafood restaurant was Le Cayenne - the seafood served was beyond delicious (check out my dorade meal photo)😃. Also, the smaller shops had beautiful and unique artworks and products that are made by the locals. I highly recommend this region for holiday bookers for family, group or couple. As for me, I will be back Bourcefranc and thanks 😍
Charming and authentic hotel and restaurant in great location in peaceful fishing port with direct access to l’île d’Oléron and in the heart of oyster country. Warm welcome, high quality food, lot’s of personal touches. Really worth it if you’re looking for something different from the usual corporate hotel chains. Would definitely recommend and visit again.
