The room was amazing and clean and very well furnished with lovely decor and a terrific landlady who was very welcoming. the location is in the middle of many fields and not much around but a great stop off point in a journey. I suggest you dont go to the steak place nearby as the food is mediocre at best and a bit of a TGI Friday affair but perfectly ok if at a loose end and want to walk to a restaurant rather than drive further out. very pleasant and lovely place at a fair price and breakfast was simple but nice

They are extremely dog friendly. The cuisine was superb and the apple fig crumble for dessert was made with their own garden produce. The entire stay was fantastic.
