Very nice location, very close to the main roads to reach Hendaye or get to the motorway to Spain. Have an Unique view with mountain in front of the Auberge. Very nice staff and place is clean and lots of space to park the car.

But the guy is friendly. And the little lady at the breakfast was charming.
Ok, maybe worth a one night stay. ANyway it seems much is overrated anyway around St Jean de Luz. The city is victim of its success.

I needed a over-night stop,on route,this was ideal.
We travelled with our dog and were made most welcomed by our hosts and their own dog. It was only a stop-over on our way North. But we found it could make a perfect base to explore the area around. The location is wonderful, only a short distance from Saint Jean and the delightful village of Ascain. For breakfast we were presented with home-made jam and a good selection of fresh products.
Beautiful town. Excellent location to the center of the village and to the trailhead for climbing La Rhune. The proximity to the ocean is perfect as well.
Our rooms were spacious and modern with an old-world feel.
