The room was basic, which was all we required as we were travelling with our dogs. The evening meal was really good, home made food from local produce, and very well cooked & presented.

We were driving back from the UK towards Spain, and honestly, the place was more perfect! We could rest and restore some energy before keep going. It’s in the surrounds of the city, so you can avoid some traffic and keep going in your way. The owner was a marvellous lady, super kind that did adapt the arriving schedule for us and offer all sort of help, we even had cold bottles of water and some cookies as welcoming that you normally don’t see in this sort of services.
Everything was clean and the refrigerator, A/C and all devices worked perfectly.
For us, that we were moving, was the perfect stance.

The hotel staff was amazing. We got a newly renovated room, clean and cozy.
Breakfast typically sweet, literally
however, the staff arranged for us bread, cheese and ham, butter and some vegetables, we were very grateful for such commitment
Close to Bordeaux in a good sized village with plenty of restaurants. Easy to get back to main road to drive onwards to Paris. We had our dog with us which was no problem in the hotel.
