Our accomodation was wonderful, clean and beautifully presented. Staff were so friendly and helpful making you feel safe during activities of which there were many. I was amazed at the snorkelling from the beach and enjoyed the company of the gorgeous resident puppy ‘Snowy’. 😊

What a special experience we had at Ravita Cove! Words can’t express how grateful we feel to have stayed in such a beautiful place. Cookie and his staff are the kindest and warmest people ever and went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. Although our stay was quite short, we made unforgettable memories there, we enjoyed the private beach and went snorkelling and spearfishing. The place is quiet, comfortable and the meals are extremely delicious. We would definitely recommend this homestay and hope to visit again in the near future. Vinaka Cookie and Ravita Homestay staff.

The locals were wonderfully friendly and attentive, they genuinely seemed happy to have us in their midst. The location on a fantastic white sand beach is quite stunning. We enjoyed swimming and snorkelling from the beach. We had a great walk up to the phone tower with fantastic views across the islands in all directions. We really enjoyed the Sawa-i-lau caves, which are a 20 minute boat ride away. Swimming into the second cave and exploring it was a remarkable experience. Note the caves are closed on Sundays, open 8 am - 12 noon Mon to Sat. Hospitality was great, we ate our meals in different houses around the village, often shared with other homestay guests. We joined in a kava ceremony one evening which was entertaining. Accommodation is basic as you would expect, a spartan but comfortable beach front bure, our own toilet and shower in a shack close by. Shower was a bit of a warm trickle but did the job at the end of the day. Food was basic but tasty, very carb heavy, you may want to practice politely declining seconds. We drank plenty of local water with no ill effects. We also visited a couple of the resorts in the Yasawas and a few days at a homestay made a great contrast and really enriched the whole trip. We travelled on the Yasawa Flyer which worked well, the connection to the homestay was easy. We booked individual transfers between the islands ourselves rather than using the multi day pass, which was a lot cheaper in our case. We bought 500g of kava root in Nadi before leaving for the islands as our sevusevu, it keeps for a few days no problem.
Facing the seafront in Naviti Island, Wai Makare Homestay features a private beach area and a garden. The homestay has family rooms.

It was very nice stay! Emily is very kind and helpful. It was comfortable, we met new friends there. No internet connection is a big adventage there! Food was a little bit poor (no protein) and portions were small, but you can always ask about more :) It was a great stay :)
Set within a tropical garden of coconut palms and surrounded by turquoise water, Coconut beach Resort directly overlooks the world famous Blue Lagoon in the Yasawa Islands.

The resort is located on the tip of a small island which used to be a coconut plantation. It is surrounded by a beautiful white sand beach facing the blue lagoon. Food is great and the staff absolutely fantastic, very attentive and friendly. Being a relatively small resort (with only 11 rooms), you feel embraced by their warm hospitality. They also have a beautiful marine reserve, with very healthy coral. Finally, their dive centre certainly is one of the best in Fiji, with very good equipment and a team so passionate for what they do who can cater to your most personal needs.
Great location if it wasn't for the constant wind.
Great location if it wasn't for the constant wind. Great staff, rooms and service with the exception of the massage/spa services. Food is phenomenal and tours were great. If laying in a hammock or snorkeling in calm waters if your picture of the Blue Lagoon, don't stay here. The wind is unreal.
