What a special experience we had at Ravita Cove! Words can’t express how grateful we feel to have stayed in such a beautiful place. Cookie and his staff are the kindest and warmest people ever and went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. Although our stay was quite short, we made unforgettable memories there, we enjoyed the private beach and went snorkelling and spearfishing. The place is quiet, comfortable and the meals are extremely delicious. We would definitely recommend this homestay and hope to visit again in the near future. Vinaka Cookie and Ravita Homestay staff.

Yasawa Homestays, hotel in Nanuya Lailai

Set in a pristine beachfront location on the remote Yasawa Island, Yasawa Homestays provides a beautiful escape. Immerse yourself in Fijian culture with traditional dances, food and village life.

The locals were wonderfully friendly and attentive, they genuinely seemed happy to have us in their midst. The location on a fantastic white sand beach is quite stunning. We enjoyed swimming and snorkelling from the beach. We had a great walk up to the phone tower with fantastic views across the islands in all directions. We really enjoyed the Sawa-i-lau caves, which are a 20 minute boat ride away. Swimming into the second cave and exploring it was a remarkable experience. Note the caves are closed on Sundays, open 8 am - 12 noon Mon to Sat. Hospitality was great, we ate our meals in different houses around the village, often shared with other homestay guests. We joined in a kava ceremony one evening which was entertaining. Accommodation is basic as you would expect, a spartan but comfortable beach front bure, our own toilet and shower in a shack close by. Shower was a bit of a warm trickle but did the job at the end of the day. Food was basic but tasty, very carb heavy, you may want to practice politely declining seconds. We drank plenty of local water with no ill effects. We also visited a couple of the resorts in the Yasawas and a few days at a homestay made a great contrast and really enriched the whole trip. We travelled on the Yasawa Flyer which worked well, the connection to the homestay was easy. We booked individual transfers between the islands ourselves rather than using the multi day pass, which was a lot cheaper in our case. We bought 500g of kava root in Nadi before leaving for the islands as our sevusevu, it keeps for a few days no problem.

It was very nice stay! Emily is very kind and helpful. It was comfortable, we met new friends there. No internet connection is a big adventage there! Food was a little bit poor (no protein) and portions were small, but you can always ask about more :) It was a great stay :)

Nanuya Island Resort, hotel in Nanuya Lailai

Nanuya Island Resort has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Nanuya Lailai. The accommodation features karaoke and room service.

A stay that I cannot find any fault with. If you’re struggling to decide which of the many resorts and islands in Fiji to pick from, then you really can’t go wrong with Nanuya Island Resort. From the second you arrive to the moment you leave you become part of the family. The food throughout my stay was great and for me seemed like great value and the staff go above and beyond to make every aspect of your visit as enjoyable as possible

This is not on the island of Nanuya Lailai - it's on another island called Matacawa Levu. The beach pictured is on Nanuya Lailai and you need a boat to get there and pick you up. Therefore what is shown is a misrepresentation.

Found this place on my lonely planet and was exactly as described, all private bures are lined up on a soft white sand beach facing the ocean. Walk to the blue lagoon is about 25 min you can also ask a ride by boat for 10 Fjd if it’s too hot. The family is always welcome and smiling, they want to assure your stay to be as relaxing as possible! Food packages is compulsory so expect it to be 50 fjd x day ( breakfast- lunch and dinner ) was fresh and delicious.

Beautiful snorkelling, food was top notch, beautiful beaches on both sides of the island and a little bit of walking nearby for something to stretch the legs. Bures were comfortable and the setting was lovely. Very well run, with great friendly staff, our favourite stop of the Yasawas even if there weren't any Manta rays.
