Palma is a fascinating city with a great vibe, many historic buildings, superb shops, bars and restaurants. The many boutique hotels in the old quarter of Palma are truly beautiful and make a visit to Palma memorable.
Charming, friendly people. Unfortunately, there are far too many tourists and our sympathy is with the locals who must feel that their city has been invaded by an alien force. It is probably better to visit in Winter when there are less visitors but all of the amenities are still open and more enjoyable without the excessive crowds

The rudeness of bus drivers is shocking.
The rudeness of bus drivers is shocking. On the 15th of August we waited more than two and a half hours for a bus, I think it was bus 204 from Sollier station to Palma. It was raining heavily, it was an inferno, with tourists crowding cruelly to get on the bus. A totally inadequate management of transport services. On another note, we witnessed a situation where a group of young people wanted to get on, they paid, but half got on and half stayed at the station, even though they had paid for the ticket. The same bus driver in Cala Major would not stop at the station, after my husband filmed him, he finally stopped and behaved horribly.
There is a lack of cleanliness in the streets. The nightlife is responsible for this, but also the lack of education.
Unfortunately, in Cala Major (blue flag) we witnessed rainwater spilling onto the beach and into the sea. I filmed the moment when rubbish, recycling and trash came from the streets. I think it was only because of our protests that the beach was closed by the lifeguards.

Palma is amazing. It has everything.
Palma is amazing. It has everything. Culture fabulous food and shopping of all types. The Spanish people are chic friendly and are enjoying life. Palma has a very romantic feel about it as the buildings and trees are similar to Buenos Aires. It buzzes with its large personality as it knows it offers everything you may need. The food is amazing with places to suit all budgets. You can walk about safely and enjoy the vibrant feel

Palma de Mallorca is a wonderful city which is worth the effort to explore. There are many things to do, and you can find really wonderful restaurants. At the same time, you can start from there to explore this wonderful islands, the beaches (part of them very near), the landscape, the many culture sights. What could you wish more for a holiday?
Be kind, polite, have a smile - and the local people will be the same way!

We love Mallorca and the other Balearic Islands!
We love Mallorca and the other Balearic Islands! There is so much variety for different activities to enjoy around the entire island of Mallorca and if you are looking for city life, shopping, history, great dining options, nightlife and beach time, Palma is PERFECT! It is also a great home base for day trips to other areas around the island which only take an hour or two to get to the other side of the island. We loved Palma and our apartment was right in the middle of the pedestrian areas with easy access to everything, including historical architecture, gardens, great shopping and a huge variety of dining options. We split our trip so we had half our time in Palma and half in Can Picafort for a slower, beach-bum, small town experience. It was a perfect combination of both ends of the spectrum and I highly recommend it if you have a week (or more) on the island! We could have stayed much longer and plan to return again!

I went with my daughter and our friends. The purpose was to relax and enjoy time together.
I will most definitely return to explore with my husband. We stayed for 3 nights which was probably about right. The food was great and we were never short of somewhere to eat even without booking.

Beautiful hotel, nicely renovated, sparkling clean and not far from the old town. The staff is very helpful and gave us nice recommendations for restaurants. The restaurant at the hotel is also very good and with great offers for lunch. I'd definitely recommend this place
Very large and comfortable room, extremely comforable bed. The hotel has a phantastic view over Palma and the bay, but is still very near by the city center. The hotel has been renovated but still kept its charm.
Recently renovated hotel in the old town. Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice spa. Good breakfast. Rooms tastefully furnished (but lacked a little charm). Large bed.
