Priscilla is a wonderful host and made us feel so welcome. We could check in as soon as we arrived, and on checkout we could store our suitcases while we went for a hike and lunch. The room and all other areas are very clean and nicely decorated. We enjoyed using the patio for afternoon drinks overlooking the water. We booked the family room as it was the only room available - we really wanted to stay at this particular hotel - so had plenty of room for two people (we decided to sleep on the single beds and not use the huge king bed as we didn't want to create unnecessary washing). There was enough hot water, wi-fi, etc., considering it's on a remote island. The location is perfect. The breakfast was at a restaurant called Midori, less than two minutes walk from the hotel. The food was delicious and both local and continental options were offered. We returned to Midori three more times to eat there for other meals and found the staff very friendly each time.

Very clean and modern hotel in city centre. Walking distance from the airport however taxi cost only 2usd. Room very spacious with comfortable bed. All amenities present. Simple breakfast included. Nice pool and jacuzzi available.
San Cristobal offers so much to do. Some of our favourite places were snorkelling at Kicker Rock, hiking up to Frigatebird Hill, watching the sunset at Playa Mann, snorkelling and Punta Carole and Playa Baquerizo. The interpretation centre is super informative and a really nice play to have a walk around. The whole island is abundant with sea lions which is a fun alternative to people watching. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars along the main strip which vary in terms of price range. It was super easy to get around San Cristobal. Some our favourite spots to eat were: Cri's Burgers, Sea Garden, The Pier, Seafood Casa, El Descanso Marinero.

We did the 360° Tour, which I can recommend if you´re not sea sick. We saw awesome beaches and many, many amazing animals :)
Flor and her family were very nice, they drove me around town and offered me food (I had never had plaintain lasagna before, thank you Mirna, it was delicious!). I got some very good recommendations on where to eat and what to do on San Cristóbal, along with a contact for the excursions. I had a room with a separate entrance and its own bathroom, air conditioning, a big bottle of water and a fridge. The Starlink internet was excellent, very fast and reliable. Thanks for the great time!
We stayed in Hostal San Francisco as we had one night in San Cristobal before heading home. This property met our expectations and was great value for money. Check in was very easy and the staff were very nice. It's got a great sea view as it's located right on the main strip of San Cristobal. Shower was nice and warm and the bed was comfy.
Simple, basic, budget friendly, does the trick. No complaints. Hosts were very lovely and helpful (though no english, so practise your basic spanish!). Short easy walk to town. San Cristobal is very safe so no issues walking to and from the accomm any hour of the day.
We were met at the airport by Sara - she was so helpful and showed us around San Cristobal. She gave good advice on where to go and things to do.
