It was okay for just 1 night. We had AC and two big beds, there is a shop downstairs, which was convenient. The location is really good.

Great staff. Jonathan was very helpful in sorting out taxi rides and a Highland tour for us. Gustavo gave us rides to and from the airport at no additional charge. Lourdes prepared an excellent breakfast and helped us with laundry toward the end of our stay.

San Cristobal offers so much to do. Some of our favourite places were snorkelling at Kicker Rock, hiking up to Frigatebird Hill, watching the sunset at Playa Mann, snorkelling and Punta Carole and Playa Baquerizo. The interpretation centre is super informative and a really nice play to have a walk around. The whole island is abundant with sea lions which is a fun alternative to people watching. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars along the main strip which vary in terms of price range. It was super easy to get around San Cristobal. Some our favourite spots to eat were: Cri's Burgers, Sea Garden, The Pier, Seafood Casa, El Descanso Marinero.

We did the 360° Tour, which I can recommend if you´re not sea sick. We saw awesome beaches and many, many amazing animals :)
The location is about 10 minutes walk from the main strip. On the outskirts but not far or inconvenient by any means. I was provided a free shuttle from the airport and was super happy with my room. AC worked wonderfully and the common area was clean and spacious. Only complaint maybe is the Wi-Fi being pretty weak but the whole island has Wi-Fi issues and honestly I was happy to disconnect for a few days in paradise anyway. I would definitely stay here again if I return to San Cristobal!
Flor and her family were very nice, they drove me around town and offered me food (I had never had plaintain lasagna before, thank you Mirna, it was delicious!). I got some very good recommendations on where to eat and what to do on San Cristóbal, along with a contact for the excursions. I had a room with a separate entrance and its own bathroom, air conditioning, a big bottle of water and a fridge. The Starlink internet was excellent, very fast and reliable. Thanks for the great time!
Flor is an absolute angel and her daughter is also very kind and helpful! I was greeted with fresh fruit and water and a big hug from Flor. The room is very close to everything! It was clean and purified water was provided. The air conditioning was amazing because it was very hot! Excellent hospitality and a very cozy stay. I would recommend staying at Flor’s House to anyone going to San Cristobal! I hope to go back to visit! ❤️
Beautiful hostel outside of the busy center of San Cristobal but only in short walking distance to the town. I stayed in two rooms and both of em were very nice, clean and comfortable. Also loved the beautiful artworks on the walls. Kitchen is well equipped and with a beautiful view to the ocean. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place and would come back any time again, muchas gracias ;)
Juan was a super friendly host, gave us a quick rundown on activities when we checked in and was very responsive through Whatsapp. Apartment was clean, had fresh towels every day, and a little area to hang dry clothes outside. The town area in San Cristobal is very small, and the apartment is conveniently located within the main town borders -- was able to walk everywhere.
When we arrived the recepcionist told us that our room wasn't at the hotel, it was at the owner's house. So we slept in a room at the owner's house. The room was big but it wasn't clean. We didn't have water for a while and they did not have the courtesy to tell us there was a problem. I had to call the host to find out was what going on. I wouldn't recomend this hotel.
We stayed in Hostal San Francisco as we had one night in San Cristobal before heading home. This property met our expectations and was great value for money. Check in was very easy and the staff were very nice. It's got a great sea view as it's located right on the main strip of San Cristobal. Shower was nice and warm and the bed was comfy.
Beautiful, cozy house. Really enjoyed having breakfasts in the garden and the jacuzzi. The staff are really friendly and eager to help with anything. They were very attentive to my communication. Although the location is a bit far from the pier, but it was easy to move around the island because the hotel provides a taxi service.
The owner of the hostel was very nice and provided us immediately with information about what we could do on our last day in San Cristobal. The hostel itself was also very nice, very good value, good internet (the first place on the Galapagos Islands where we found good internet), clean.
I would definitely recommend this hostel!
The apartment is located ~10-15 minutes from the center in San Cristobal.
Our apartment was equipped with a kitchen/living room, bath room and two double bed rooms. Everything was clean and the beds are comfy.
The host was very helpful and nice. He informed us about the island, what to do and even helped us to book a tour.

The bed is quite small, the kitchen isn't very well equipped but it is good value for San Cristobal. The bathroom was clean & the shower was good.
It's only about a 10 minutes stroll from the seafront & has a good supermarket opposite & a great community market around the corner.
Our host made arrangements for someone to pick us up from the airport and take us to the house. We enjoyed staying in this house while we visited San Cristobal for several days. It had many of the amenities (kitchen, filtered water) that we appreciated. Our kids enjoyed hanging out in the back yard.
Of note this is a room in a family's house, you will be the only guest, there is only one room. Perfect launch pad for your San Cristobal adventures. The family is lovely and will explain the island to you right when you get there. Great value for a backpacker doing the galapagos on a budget.
The unit was very spacious and the beds were firm and comfortable for us. The AC units worked well in both bedrooms. There is no AC unit in the livingroom area. Jeanpiere was an amazing host who went out of his way to help us and assist with booking day trips around San Cristobal.
I had a great stay at Casa Arvakeni, they are such a lovely and kind family. The room and bathroom were spotless and we had everything we needed for our stay including shared kitchen facilities. I highly recommend Casa Arvakeni to anyone visiting San Cristobal.
We were met at the airport by Sara - she was so helpful and showed us around San Cristobal. She gave good advice on where to go and things to do.

Quirky and fun! Most wonderful hosts with beautiful gardens and so much fresh fruit available. Situated in nature away from San Cristobal but still very easy to get to.
We had a great time in San Cristobal. Carlos is a great host and helps with everything. The rooms are clean and the terrace is great. Free drinking water!
