Was pleasantly surprised by the hotel for our short term stay. The only hiccup would be a bit complicated check-in (ie you have to call the hotel and wait for someone to open it for you; but we managed nevertheless within 30 minutes) and limited parking space (albeit if you can walk for 2-3 minutes - you’ll find parking spaces no problem).
The breakfast was nice, we had extremely comfortable pillows (5* hotels in Dubai sometimes give you much worse), the room warmed up well with the battery and the shower pressure was great. Basically everything worked, the atmosphere was like at home. The personnel were also very welcoming.

Good food at reasonable prices, friendly staff, good car park, nice room and bathroom, plenty of good walking trails directly from the hotel.
The location is quiet with nice trails around. The single room was spacious, with a desk, wardrobe, bed, and television.
The hotel is clean, though the decor is dated, I enjoyed the stay.
The walk into Otterberg village is a short walk, great a bite to eat, or explore the village. Food delivery options on Lieferando are great, with 31 options.
The owners are kind and are on-property if you ever need anything.
For working, the wifi in the dining area is good. I stayed in room 213 and was able to recieve OK wifi signal.
The hotel is a nice walk from the center centre where you can find a few cafes and walking trails.
I enjoyed the large bathtub in room 213, as well as the large wardrobe.
The owners are so welcoming and kind, I will continue to only book a stay here for my visit to the area.
It's an older hotel. Built in 1957 I think. Although there were some things renovated and upgraded, the rooms still have an old feeling to them. It's a nice, quiet location. You can open you window and hear the birds outside instead of traffic all of the time.
Wonderful accommodation in the heart of Otterberg. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The room is comfortable and clean with daily service. The location is perfect for everything accessible within walking distance. Highly recommend

Breakfast was served by a pleasant elderly man. He doesn't speak English, but we could understand each other.
Easy booking, and I got a double bed room, even that I have booked a normal single one, for the same money. It was quite good as always. The place of the hotel is one of the kind!
