I cycled along the river Elbe, and took lots of photos of the city.
The weather was good, with sun shine and blue sky, so the view was perfect.
I suggest people can walk/cycle along the river, from Cathedral to Jahrtausendturm, just be enjoy the cozy.
The Cathedral has a total different view b/w days and nights, so go there twice!

Magdeburg is a lovely city but there isn't too much to do/see there.
You might want to visit for a day or two but it's not too spectacular.
If you get there visit the Hundertwasserhaus.

Interesting city.
Interesting city. Clean with nice places to eat - especially pan asian. Seems incredibly quiet and almost like two extra floors were built on every buiding that weren't needed. Still, a nice clean place with green spaces. The whole city's walkable. If you want a lively area, this is definitely not for you.

Very beautiful and historic city. It was especially beautifully decorated for the Christmas season and had an amazing Christmas market! Very goood restaurants, hotels, shopping and easy to navigate with the trams and buses. I’lll be back!

Interesting mixture of the old and new. The Stadtpark was a good contrast and a great view of the city from the top of the Albin-Müller-Turm. Easy to eat out. Slightly disappointed by the "number 1 attraction", the Grünen Zitadelle. Would have liked to take the tour, but it was only available in German so decided it was too expensive.
This is a great hotel! Spacious rooms, comfortable big beds, all nice and clean. We were travelling with our almost 3 year old and booked a family room, with the idea that we will all sleep on the normal beds. The hotel proactively prepared baby cot - this one was extremely comfortable, not like with other hotels we experienced. Very good breakfast. Around the corner from the hotel, you have various restaurants to go out for dinner. Parking is right under the hotel and you are in the middle of Magdeburg, so paid parking make sense.
Stayed for a night on the way through Germany back from vacation. It is definitely a cool and unique hotel, especially if you are a Hundertwasser fan. The bathroom is really cool. Friendly staff and good breakfast even though quite expensive.
Travelling with a dog, we got into the room to find a bowl of food ready for her which is very thoughtful.
I booked a room with a balcony but it is more like a shared terrace than a balcony so not private. The rooms on the other side without balcony seemed funkier and a big bigger.
Love the check-in /check out by mobile phone. Codes working perfectly and apartment is well equipped even with small items like dish washing pads, salt, pepper and so on. We arrived after 8 p.m. and found a free parking in front of the door (till 8 a.m. in the morning). The mentioned parking location we used the next day- it was even closer than the announced 700m and well walkable even with luggage. The general location in Magdeburg is central enough to walk to all major sightseeing spots. We'll come back.
No-frills, honest, down-to-earth place to stay, spotlessly clean. Accurate description on booking.com. Convenient location with supermarket downstairs and bakery at the corner. Reception closes over lunch; I had overlooked that information but the receptionist welcomed us in anyway. Good water pressure and heating. Free wifi (you may need to reconnect every now and then). We did not have breakfast there but it looked decent and like good value for money. Free, spacious parking behind the building.
Very nice hotel and it’s a good location near the centre of town. The rooms were clean and pleasant to stay in. However, our room was on the first floor and at about 5am workers started talking very loudly and smoking outside our window with no consideration. The room was filled with the smell of smoke.
The restaurant looked very nice but we did not end up getting breakfast since it was €16 per person.
Property is clean and nice designed… but all this have to be writing off because on our arrival on 7 January temperature in the room was maybe just 1 degrees above than outside…🥶🥶🥶.. Management never put heating on before guests arrive… It’s sucks when you renting hotel to have a rest on your trip but forced to sleep with the clothes on ….🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

It’s a genuinely a comfortable apartment and has pretty much eveything you could need for a small holiday. Train and bus stations aren’t far away, there’s a grocery store right next to you and the apartment is very well decorated. the staff is also very friendly.

The apartment is in an awesome location, with many more features that are not listed which is a suprise. The apartment was clean modern and it made me feel like at home. I would highly recommend this to everyone.
