The receptionist was pleasant and humorous.He prepared himself to say "goodnight" to us in Greek when we returned in the evening after our walk outside 👏🏻.The breakfast was good. We were greeted by the manager with a smile and felt immediately welcome. Slept very well as it is very quiet at night and the beds are comfortable. Hotel is a bit older with a "cat theme" which we found amusing. The room and bathroom were spacious and very clean. Excellent breakfast. The restaurant is superb. We had relatives staying in Strasbourg and we drove them to the hotel for dinner as the quality and value for money is so much better than over the border.

A small pleasant border town just across the bridge to Strasbourg. Particularity : 50% of the customers are visitors from Alsace and the "Black Mountain" (Schwarzwald) in just nearby. No problem for French visitors who can't speak German
The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood on the German side of the Rhine River. Walking to the Rhine in the evening was good. Checking in/out is very smooth. Although I got the keys from the reception, I didn't foresee any problem if arriving at later hours. The message received from the hotel about the check-in and -out procedures - most importantly, how to get the keys - was very clear. The shower was good, but the shower head was partially clogged.
I went on vacation and stayed four nights at Rosengarten. The hotel is simple, but it does what it says. My room was cleaned daily, breakfast had good options and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, very close to the tram station and city's center, with many options for food and shop.
I have no complaints regarding my stay at the hotel. I would easily book it again if I ever go back to Kehl.
Super clean, warm, and provided everything you needed. That room are new and comfy. The staff is very helpful and friendly! You can book breakfast on the morning itself and has everything. The hotel is also very close to the tram station which can take you to the centre. Also super easy checkin by yourself. parking is also free in the open parking space next to the hotel.
Overall a perfect value for money
This hotel was an extremely good choice. Nice staff, very very friendly, clean and comfortable room, very well equipped, spacy, quiet...and most of all very convenient location because only 100m from the D line tram station (Kehl Rathaus). Only 26mn from Strasbourg train station. Can't ask for more...

Everything! The place is pretty huge and fully equipped. The owners are lovely as well, very accommodating and welcoming. The location is just 10 mins walk from the Kehl Rathaus station and 20 mins from Strasbourg by tram.
