My wife and I were travelling for past 30 years throughout the world, and House Florian is one of the best accommodations we had ever had.
The rooms are large, well equipped, spotlessly clean. I always pay attention to engineering details and quality of finishes, and House Florian is a fine example of German quality and precision.
The host, Carmen, I may be poor in my expressions – she is just amazing, to say the least…
Always smiley, kind, and helpful.
Highly recommended place for visitors looking for peace, and skying in and around Garmisch-Partenkirchen – most notably the Zugspitze.

We are very familiar with the area. It is an excellent location. Not far from the Eibsee and of course the Zugspitz. There are some excellent eating places in Grainau. We will come back again. We recommend a walk around the Baadersee which is nearby.

Quite little town in the off season. If you have the time the is a very nice walk back down from Eibsee

Very cozy place, nice romantic place. Ideal for getaway and experience mountain walks, atmosphere, food (be careful, extra large portions), drinks.
Ensure you visit Badersee and Eibsee.
At last but not at least - ensure you do not miss AlpspiX, Zugspitze (either cable car or train, train is amazing - must have). This is TOP of the Germany.
And do not forget you camera and binoculars, once you get it out from case it will not go back.

Restaurant in Am Bader see is fantastic, wide spread of delicacies, yammi breakfast.
I would recommend to include dinner and breakfast buffet for halal food eaters.
What a fantastic spot! Extremely well-appointed, spacious, well located. Especially appreciated the balcony with mountain view. Michael was an excellent contact Very helpful with all questions, connecting us with driver service, and available at moment’s notice: More than expected. The apartment is close to tourist train bus stop, Resto’s and services. Perfect jumping off point to visit Zugspitzesuite, Partnachklamm, Eibsee, hiking & mountain walks plus castles. A perfect Bavarian getaway!
It was a great location. We did half board and enjoyed breakfast and dinner in on site restaurant. The indoor pool was nice, the fitness center was well equipped and the sauna/wellness center was very nice. Enjoyed a massage followed by time in the multiple saunas. This dog friendly hotel was perfect for our stay. The family skied/snowboarded at Garmisch Classic and had a great time. Would definitely recommend this place. And would stay here again.
Probably one of my favourite properties I've stayed in. Amazing facilities ranging from relaxation areas to wellness to the private beach access. Amazing design balancing modern and quaint aesthetic. Super comfy rooms and beds. Great food, amazing breakfast. Spotless everywhere. And super super nice staff always willing to help and give great service (absolutely not a given in Germany). Will come back for sure, highly recommend!
The hotel is located close to the central square in Grainau. Each room has its parking. My single room was quiet spacy with a balcony and offered a nice view on the Waxenstein and the Zugspitze. The owner is very friendly and helpful and has a lot of good suggestions for activities. The breakfast buffet offers a variety of choices. The price/quality ratio is perfect.
Totally charming Gasthof. Great location for the train to Eibsee and Zugspitze. Several restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was included and included freshly made scrambled or fried eggs. For those wanting beer or wine, the bar area had an honor system and one needed only list name and items taken. Great for after-hours desires.
Haus St Anton was a wonderful, quaint property to stay at while visiting the Zugspitze region. Grainau is such a pretty Bavarian village, and St Anton fits in well in the community. Lots of small touches inside (wood details, Bavarian country scene paintinged on walls and doors, antiques, etc.), and a fantastic Alpine view in the backyard!

Everything was perfect. Room was bigger than in the photos and with an amazing view. Breakfast was good. They had good quallity products.
Location was great. You can reach the Zugspitze in 6 min by car or an hour by foot( great hiking trail) . You can also get a Buss which is right next to the hotel.
Everything. The rooms are one of the cleanest rooms ive seen in Germany, and the staffs are beyond nice. Always willing to answer questions. The hotel even provided us with a ticket, that we can use, when we travel the whole Grainau with public transports.
The accomodations were wonderful; Carmen so gracious and helpful; and the view beyond description! Grainau is a wonderful small town, much less crowded and hectic than G-P. So many things are in walking distance of Haus Florian.
The room had a nice view to Zugspitze. The owner is really nice and helpful. With the Grainau Card you can used the public transport to Eibsee for free. The room had a balcony which was really nice.
Beautiful inside and out. Accommodation was close to the Zugspitzebahn to take you to Eibsee/Garmisch. GrainauCard was provided free of charge to get you on the transport (and many more!)
The location of the hotel is awesome. Very good breakfast, friendly and helpfull staff. The bad and pillow are awesome, very quiet and lovely room. A lot of trail hiking.
The hotel is very pretty. The views are good from the outdoor seated area. The staff were really helpful. They have nice spa, bike hire and plenty other facilities.
