The location was great, the apartment had two bedrooms, a complete kitchen, and spacious accommodations. We were visiting friends in the area so it was a very convenient location. All instructions were in German so it was good to have friends who assisted with the language issues. We were on the top floor so getting our luggage up and down the stairs was a bit of a challenge for us given our age.

the breakfast was NOT excellent but good enough to enjoy it (could improve the juice quality => by changing to fresh squeezed juice instead of standard industrial juice), increase the choices of ham, and pastries.
Capitol is set in Friedrichshafen, 2.2 mi from Fairground Friedrichshafen and 2625 feet from Zeppelin Museum. The rooms have a flat-screen TV. Some rooms have a seating area for your convenience.
The owners/staff of the hotel are super nice and friendly. They are always happy to help with a smile and they even gave our little son a small children's book at checkout, farm themed (very nice touch).
There is a small very well kept playing ground.
The breakfast buffet has plenty to choose from and is very tasty.
You're not right at Bodensee but it's a short drive to Friedrichshafen and Lindau and Meersburg are also very close.
So you have a nice quiet area very close to the busier parts of the lake.
