It is a small charming hotel. Room was ok and sauna as well. Breakfast was quite good and also the dinner we had there. It is a hotel to stay in it, as it is in the countryside and you have the sauna and the swiming pool. We went after a long trip from Frankfurt and after visiting Quedlinburg. Perfect for that stop!

The couple running this holiday apartment were lovely. The room was spacious and clean and the amenities were great. The bathroom was very nice and large, large very modern shower. The hosts provided a couple of drinks in the kitchen which was nice. It has a really cozy feel and there is art displayed on the walls all done by one of the hosts there. The bed was a great size and comfortable bedding was provided. I didn't spend much time in the garden but there is a pleasant outdoor seating area also. The kitchen has all the essentials and I was making breakfast in there every day. It's also within a short walk of local buses and a grocery store. Would recommend this space to anyone!

Wonderful and unique location (repurposed train station) in the Harz area. The apartment was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. Your place to be if you need peace and quiet.

Well located, easy to get to by car and within easy walking distance of the town centre. The room was a little old fashioned but comfortable enough. The real highlight though was the courtyard and restaurant. The courtyard was a delightful space in which to enjoy a pre dinner drink and then dinner. The restaurant was excellent. The staff were first class and generally spoke excellent English.

Gaste und Seminarhaus in Ballenstedt is comfortably located for travel by car. Easy access to reach other sight seeing locations in the Harz area. Also easy to discover the old city Ballenstedt area by foot.
The room itself was very spacious and clean. Hotel is also very cleanly maintained. The owner and staff are friendly, approachable and helpful. We opted for breakfast which was filling and with a healthy variety. In all a great place to stay to discover Harz area by car.

The hotel is in the countryside. The staff is very friendly and professional. In the restaurant they try to fulfill almost every special request and they have a heart for children. Impress was the rich breakfast buffet which offers a large selection and very good quality
