What I did not like was the fact that every night "poor" people would
empty out of the official garbage containers in downtown Armenia throwing the contents on the square where the local business is operating. It is true however that the squares and streets are cleaned daily meticulously .

A fantastic place near Armenia There is one huge reason to go to Armenia, the Quindio Botanical Gardens four kilometres from town. They are the best botanical gardens I have been to since Kandy in Sri Lanka 42 years ago. They are big with a fabulous butterfly house. You have to take a guided tour, but it last nearly 3 hours and my guide was fantastic. Maybe the best thing I have seen in Colombia in 7 weeks

The city itself is not very interesting, but it gives excelent access to the surrounding points of interest. We visited a coffee museum, the palm trees and the fun park ‘parque del café’ which all are awesome

The scenery it’s amazing! Mountains are cover in agricultural products as coffee, bananas, pineapple, avocado trees. The local food it’s delicious and the people it’s very friendly.
Many attractions and places to see for a short drive, as finca Recuca, Salento and Valle del Cócora, Parque del café, Balsaje río la vieja.

Excellent taxi and buses service from and to the Hotel. Very friendly people. Salento town pretty but busy and Corcoras valley second to none. I felt in the Parque Cafe I could have been in any theme park in Europe or USA.

Perfect apartment for journeys into Armenia coffee country and wonderful nature.
Apartment is spacious with a fully functioning kitchen, 3 separate bedrooms and two bathrooms with warm shower.
As apartment is on 15h floor the view is absolutely stunning !
Security is high, we felt very safe, living, parking, walking.
Host family were very punctual at check in and checkout, and super helpful with suggestions for activities and just friendly ;-)
Washing machine in apartment cleaned our laundry and wet laundry hang-dried in two days.
The hotel's perfect location amidst nature, yet walking distance to a charming mall with a café, supermarket, and restaurants. Only five minutes from the airport with minimal noise. Spacious, clean rooms, well-maintained facilities. Kids loved the horses and dog. Incredibly helpful, friendly staff. Amazing breakfast (the restaurant were breakfast is served is also great for dinner). Unforgettable experience.

the spa and the swimming Pool need some refurbishment and the massage wasn’t that good but it is provide it from an external person not an employee from the hotel maybe hence the low quality.
I liked the villa, the location. There are animals and crops around the place. The personnel is quite kind, they offer a great service that make you feel quite good. They offered many advices and services like renting a car. The location is quite good being close to "Parque del Café" and nice view of Armenia city. It is good value.
The eco Hotel las Palmas has an amazing atmosphere, the facilities and staff are super nice I really recommend this place to get some rest in the middle of the beautiful landscapes that this region has! Thank you soo much for the wonderful experience was totally worth it !
The hotel is far from the main road. It is a very peaceful place surrounded by trees. The hotel is protected by guards so it is definitely safe. There is room service. The staff speaks English very well. They can organize taxis or tours to nearby attractions.
The hotel was very well maintained, with beautiful decor and very clean. The room had a Nespresso machine with Colombia coffee:) All the staff were very friendly and provided great hospitality. The breakfast and meals were made with great care.
Norberto is a really nice host, he was very responsive and kind. The place is in a quiter, safer district of Armenia, and there are 24h reception in the building. There are 2 supermarkets basically within the building.
