People very nice and friendly. Beautiful Christmas decorations everywhere. Everything is walkable to shopping malls, parks, sight seeing. Hotel was perfect classy. Coffee, ice cream and food downstairs. Reception knew how to direct you to anywhere you wanted to go whether walking, or taxi.

The capital of coffeeland- cosmopolitan people a mix of colombian hospitality and international flair. Museums- hiking adventures- visiting the spring water" termales de santa rosa" about two hours from pereira . The international ikumuri zoo💙 highly recommended not to stay at Hotel soratama" I have terrible experience there" there's plenty places a lot better like pinares high class neighborhood safety first. 💙 going to the airport won't cost more than 20 bucks - dress nice. Have fun

Pereira offers a good base for exploring the Coffee Triangle. For its relatively modest size it's bustling and offers a wide range of accommodation and restaurants. As the modern city it is there's not a lot of historical interest and a sightseeing agenda would be exhausted fairly quickly, but it's a very good toehold for exploring the many sights in the Eje Cafetero. Within 20 minutes you can be out in the countryside, unlike in Medellin or Bogota, and the landscapes around the city are stunning. Together with Armenia and Manizales it's definitely a go-to place for anyone wanting an urban base for trips in the Coffee Country.
The hotel is a beautiful piece of classy style full of chandeliers. Its located in Centro and everything is at walking distance. The staff Aanna,Lorena,Juliet and two more girls are all very helpful, caring, full of information and having a sweet lovely smile always. The breakfast staff Kathy and get assistant are also very caring and smiling. The rooms are quite big and have classy furniture and the housekeeping staff keeps it clean and tidy. At the reception level there is a bar, restaurant,travel agency and a Spa.
Amazing setting in the hills & countryside outside Pereira. Staff were really nice people and very helpful/accommodating. Food was very high quality and good value. They organised private local trips to Cocora Valley, horse riding, coffee plantation and thermal springs all of which were great thanks to Jorge, their driver, and good value for money. You can eat meals all over the property in private pergolas (which were magical at night) rather than just in a central restaurant.
Ideal and cozy nook just minutes from the Pereira airport. We stayed here overnight to be close to the airport for our flight back to the US the next day. But if you stay in one of the upper floor rooms with a kitchenette, with views of the city and the mountains, this hotel could be a base for a longer stay in this city or region. The included breakfast was a la carte and everything we chose was excellently prepared. Especially the omelets with vegetables.

I rarely write reviews even though I have been managing hotels for the past 20 years. But when it's time to help the Hotel to better there products and its clients I take my time and find it important to write a review. Good and Bad points.
Good points;
1. Center of the city next to the main plaza. Store restaurants etc.
2. Proper size room with excellent washroom and shower with high pressure hot water.
3. Decent gym
Overall, Sonesta was good for one night. The view in the morning is beautiful. I appreciate the early check-in & the front desk was courteous.
Location: Depending on what you're looking for, it can be a pro or a con.
It's located outside the city center & there aren't many places you can walk to from here though if you rent a car that won't be an issue as you can navigate easily on your own.
Eduardo was a great host! He was really attentive and had helpful tips about what to see around Pereira and how to use the local bus. He speaks really good English. To get into Pereira you need a taxi/Uber but it that was super easy so we really enjoyed the hotel a little further out of the city! The jacuzzi was really relaxing. We highly recommend to stay with Eduardo!
The Hotel is really well located. There are many restaurants and stores around in all directions. The entrance was a little confusing but it is a glass door with the name on the right wall. The room had a big window to the main street and the bed was soft, our room had a fridge with drinks in case we didnt want to go out which is a plus.
Hacienda San Jose exceeded my expectations! One of the most beautiful boutique hotel I’ve ever stay at. the decor and customer service was like no other it was personalized by every staff member. when I travel back to Pereira this will be the only hotel I will stay at. no reason to go else where. I can’t wait to be back
The breakfast was typical Colombian breakfast and was delicious. The location of the hotel is perfect for my needs. The room was very nice and I had an excellent view of the city and surrounding hills from the ninth floor.
For the first time in two weeks in Colombia I had a REALLY COMFORTABLE bed , with … FEATHER PILLOWS !! Not only that but , the receptionist and the doorman were lovely and really helpful ! The breakfast was very good .
We stayed in the suite (that includes a small living room) and it was really spacious and modern. The breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly. In general I would recommend this hotel.
